Or are you advocating that nobody should ever "boo" anyone at a sporting event because everyone should just be happy they have their health? " It's acceptable to be upset or disagree with your team. It is acceptable to leave said game whenever you please. But to claim to be the Greatest Fans in College Football and treat our team and staff the way we do at times is not acceptable if we are to carry this moniker.

The only time I was ok with the booing was during the 2010 Texas game when every promising drive we got on, one of their players would roll over and kill our momentum with an injury timeout. Awful. I'll admit, I left that game. I was just too disgusted to watch anymore, for this I appologize.

I'm sure it wasn't as dramatic as they make it sound. But the fact that any amount of fans were leaving and booing is concerning and infuriating enough because it is happening regularly.

Nobody is ignoring that Pelini said what he said. You are ignoring the fact that he just came off the biggest comeback in Husker history and had half the stadium leave and the other half booing their own team. Yeah I wouldn't be to frickin happy with my fanbase either. I promise the comments he made were actually quite calm compared to the tounge lashing I myself would've unleashed were I in his position. Cut the man some slack, re-evaluate your commitment to Husker Nation and lets move past this and hope for a win this week against a better than you think SDSU. GBR!

This is about 8 different bad ideas rolled into one.

I don't think our Defense just isn't properly "Conditioned". I agree 110% that our offense did them no favors. 3 incompletions and a punt are a perfect example of that. The troublesome thing with this is it was eerily similar to that night in Madison two years ago. Sure Taylor was a bit banged up and couldnt' run it himself. But with a talented stable of RB's I think we couldv'e pounded it on the ground more. And YES UCLA was stopping us for minimal gain or loss, but we can wear that line out and take one to the house this game goes much differently. We typically grind teams out with our run game when were ahead. But as soon as we are down, Beck panics, calls too many passes that result in nothing or a turnover and we end up losing by 20 points to a team we are on par with with but look helpless against. After two minutes our pooped defense is back on the field and has no time to adjust to what they are alread successful at running against them. It's a vicouse cycle we run, amazing when it works, depressing when it doesn't.

I wanted to go out to that game last year but was unable to swing it into my work schedule. I know a few people that went and said they were treated with a fair amount of respect so I'm glad to hear this series hasn't turned hostile yet.

I would actually consider traveling to Auburn for a game with Nebraska. From a Tiger fans perspective, what is the atmosphere like for a non SEC team traveling fan squad?

If he feels that way I wish he could part ways amicably, but no matter what happens, 14-0 or 5-7, it will be hostility from the detractors. I feel he enjoys it here but if things keep on the way they have I forsee an NFL Coordinator job that he "just couldnt possibly turn down."

Personally, I put a higher value on scoring but whatever floats your boat. Hard to score on incompletions and punts. But feel feee to ignore the obvious issues.....that are fixable.

We dont wear down their Defense if were throwing 3 incompletions. Hardly enough time for our Defense to take of their helmet for a minute. Controlling the clock on offense needs to be a.bigger priority, all the while moving the chains. Not every other play HAS to be a TD.

Yeah. If only there were other players on the sidelines who could also play. We could call them substitutes. They could give the guys who just got done playing a break and they'd be fresh. I'm going to walk down the hall and see if Paps can work on this. t If we are actually utilzing subs correctly then there is a grander issue than wear and tear. Id say formation is a good place to start looking.

Beck is calling plays that result in too many quick drives and punts. This results in the Defense, already playing poorly, getting back on the field only minutes after they allowed a score. The mentality of these first year starters must be shaken by this. Papuchis and Beck need to work together to find a rythym they can both be happy about. What does that have to do with playing contain vs. pressuring QBs? My point is that these guys are so worn down they are merely waiting for the play to develop and come to tthem rather than having some gas in the tank to attack the QB.
