You demand that they handle things the way that you want them to, and when they don't you drag them through the mud and are glad to see them no longer part of 'your' team. What's really unfair is that some people are throwing so much fault at Kenny, even though they're also throwing all the fault at Bo. If Bo was as awful as people say, then any shortcomings that people hypothetically associate with Kenny were a product of a toxic environment, which was hardly his fault. I for one think that the toxic environment was way worse than the last audio that came out. Feel bad for the players and the new staff, because the brain washing will be tough to reverse. Kenny didn't want Bo to get fired. He liked Bo. Since when is loyalty a character flaw?

Everything about the experience of attending a Husker home game is first rate. I've brought several people from my home state of Illinois, and their reactions are always the same. They loved it. I use to get some great tickets to the Jordan Bulls games, and Stl Cardinal games and those experiences weren't close to the excitement generated by the Huskers.

I didn't see that until just now. Prior to seeing it I was just hoping KB would someday be proud of being a Husker. Now I know he is. I'm thankful because I know what that feeling is. Brings me back every year to rekindle what it is to be part of this great "family." I grew up in Illinois and live here now, but I will always bleed Husker Red. Thanks Kenny and thanks Husker Nation. We have something sooo very special and no rift will ever tear us apart. Great effort yesterday amid difficult times. We may argue amongst ourselves, but we still love each other.

I grew up and still live in Illinois. For years the Big would send its conference champ to play in the Rose Bowl against the PAC champ and for years the Big teams would get drilled. I have always felt the Big was overrated. The 3 yards and a cloud of dust was realistic when the only two teams that would win were Mich and OSU. Hell, Woody Hayes once was quoted as saying something like he hated the pass because when you pass 3 things can happen and 2 of those are bad.
