Seems about right for next year...
FRESHMEN: LUNDLE, MORGAN??, ????
RS FRESHMEN: IRONS, TOLBERT (possibly Bush)
SOPH: PIERSON EL, GLADNEY,
JUNIOR: HOVEY, MOORE, REILLY, WESTERKAMP
SENIOR: TURNER, BURTCH, ALLEN
If Morgan is "N" then how come we keep offering to new WR recruits when we only have ~15 spots?
We just offered another 3 star WR in Georgia this morning. We had 2 WR visits this weekend. I mean, how many are we looking to take considering we already have 1 committed and Morgan might be "N" on Friday night....or our staff might already know.
Hopefully this topic is null, and we are playing in Playoffs, but who would you like to see us play if we aren't?
I'd say anyone in the SEC, especially someone like Ole Miss or Miss. State.
I care. Everyone understands this will play itself out to at least limiting the SEC to 2 teams, but why boost their ego at this point? Is it feasible to at least narrow it down to 2 in the top for from the SEC right now? YES.
But how does that make sense... Why only 4 conference champions out of the Power 5? Why not 6 teams with the top 2 getting a bye or something, or why not 8, which I've previously voiced my opinion on.
SEC Champion
B10 Champion
B12 Champion
P12 Champion
ACC Champion
WILD CARD
2 highest ranked teams get the bye.
You could play the first round the week after Championship Games, then play the rest of the playoffs like current format.
GIVE EVERY CONFERENCE A CHANCE. I know NFL to CF is like apples to oranges, but there have been some years that the AFC or NFC was clearly more dominant right? The non-dominant conference still had a chance and got to send a representative to the Super Bowl.
SEC teams are soooo hyped which leads to high rankings, which leads to "Great Wins" by other SEC teams. Hopefully when they all have 2+ losses they finally drop out of the top 10.
The SEC just isn't as good as everyone thinks it is. Does anyone actually believe that if we beat Michigan State, we would be ranked 3rd as an undefeated? It just isn't so. They would say, yeah but MSU sucks, they lost to Oregon and play in the B10. Nebraska doesn't have a legit win on their schedule. Drives me bonkers.
The problem is the higher up teams that have "quality wins" only have "quality wins" because the SEC is OVERHYPED and every team is pertty near ranked!
It's not even funny anymore, the competitive balance is so much closer than these voters think, yet they still heavily favor the SEC. Notice the 5 of top 10 being those teams.
