That’s interesting. I don’t see many teams “stopping” our offense the rest of the year. I do agree that our defense probably won’t hold up against many teams that control the LOS though.

We are now 3-6. Do you then believe we will win out and go 6-6 to qualify for a bowl game? Remaining foes would be Illinois, Michigan State and @ Iowa.

To be frank, this is probably for the best. Our guys need to continue to feel like they are being slighted. I can't imagine a scenario where us feeling like we are the kings of the B1G because of our ranking would be good for this team. Would completely smell like 2014, or whatever the heck year that was.

Would be our first true blowout win since........Wyoming 2016.

Comparing NFL/NCAA is kinda goofy in that scenario. Those players get drafted by a team and have to play there. We are talking about players who get to choose where they are going.

I think we got recruiting updates from most of the guys, besides Benhart. Benhart usually goes through Waldo or no one. It doesn't help that Schaefer is in Vegas and the other 247 guys don't have near the clout in the recruiting portion of the site. I do think that after going home and stewing on it, Benhart might commit tonight though.

I just don't think we need to play that game anymore. No worries about silent commitments. Let's just focus on guys who verbally commit and wait until they do so. It's such a slippery slope. I'm sure it just meant exactly what he said. Things are going very well and feedback was excellent from the recruits that were there (which he said).
