There is also CJ Moore the WR too. I believe we are in his top 5 and overall he is rated .955. Not saying we land him but you would think we would make room for him. The WR numbers are low right given that Riley usually struggles with hamstring or groin injuries

Yeah now liking stuff that Zach smith is tweeting out when it used to be the other way. Hey Ohio states a NC team and in sure urbs did a good job closing when he went out. Can't win them all.. But Lewis is very much in the fold. At least we are being relevant and being talked about on a national Level with recruits (even if it is then just talking about our national famns base) we haven't been in this many true recruiting battles for awhile

Another article talked about how is coach or someone told him to wait to commit until he takes his visits.. I'm assuming his official visits and not just his little mini tour of unofficial visits. If that is the case he has has an OV scheduled to OU pretty late IIRC like November..so it might be awhile.

I wouldn't say he is gone. He seemed to be down playing osu in his interviews... Could be a smoke screen for if he commits there.. Saying things like he doesn't have to play with Martel or he thinks that osu is one of his leaders. One of his interviews (I think it was the one at the Nebraska Cali camp he said relationships are key for him and feeling comfortable along with education).. I think it was the same interview where he said kw was like a best buddy out there. His social media post btwn Nebraksa and Ohio state he will retreat or tweet at kw and makes jokes at kw and defend kW but I haven't seen the same for Zach smith.. And we have had two players in Martell and the guy at the opening who stated interest in Nebraska after conversing with tyjon .. Haven't seen that with osu and osu has a good fanbase too so doubt the chatter is just for the tweets. It will be a good dog race until the end

I agree with Iowa State husker. IIRC he had some similar expressions on footage from the California football camp. Obvi that camp was positive enough for him to want to come to Nebraska on his own dime to attend another camp bc the Nebraska camp was scheduled pretty quickly after the California camp. I think it's Nebraska versus Ohio Stare with possibly a Nebraska lean but that he is going to go out to the Ohio state camp and give that camp a fair shot like he did our camps.

One of those national guys who predicted tyjon to osu that I was looking at the other day who had a 80% or low 90% prediction rate (I believe it was bartow though and not whitflong) when you actually looked at their predictions they padded their success rate with mostly last minute picks or picks when the kid already committed then got the majority of their points off of a few predictions made way in advance. We need a crystal ball on the crystal ball

He said over the weekend three more days of school. Probably multiple finals and I thought he is a 4.0 student.. So he probably isn't just waiting until the last minute. Obvi he respects Riley and the staff bc even though he missed the spring game he face timed Riley and even though he didn't partake in camp he came out and said hello. I wouldn't look too much into this. He has already been to position meetings with the team and seen practices so he has seen how he would be coached. I would be more concerned about he other trio who didn't come to camp (rahymes group) although I wouldn't even look into that or be too concerned with that since all three missed which probably means they had a seven on seven or school practice or something

I believe he said a few months ago he wasn't going to participate. He is not listed on the online roster either. I don't know if he even went to any of the early qualifier rounds. It doesn't surprise me because the kid doesn't seem to want any attention, even when he announced his commitment.

With both tOSUvs OU and Michigan State vs Notre Dame being night games you got to think they will go with USC Stanford and and we are either morning or afternoon

Look at as Bama might actually be doing us a recruiting favor... By checking out Calabassas and making noise about Kiffin looking at Key could cause other recruits to think hey this is a kid that Alabama really wants but instead chose Nebraska.. Maybe I should look into this Nebraska hype

If mom wants him close then good thing that officials now include parents. According to 247 the only school that he has down that he unofficially visited was Mississippi... Meaning maybe he couldn't come up here on his own dime and maybe he wouldn't have been able to bring mom on an official when parents weren't included in the cost.. Granted he has to schedule an official first

Haha I like the FYI Yes it's nice that he retweeted it.. Better than not retweeting; however I don't put much stock into retweeted posts directed at them.. Some kids have even said that they are just being nice by giving a retweet to something directed at them.
