  1. Yeah I changed that...but none of the hometowns for the players are correct on the game...usually just the home states... Also gave him a little more throwing power/accuracy for the hell of it...
  2. I've been trying to get my first Husker game...freakin' Ricky Williams...
  3. Surprising to me that the Bengals picked him up. As many problems as they've had with players and the law, you'd think they wouldn't want to sign a guy who has had some troubles in the past. That being said, I really hope Mo steps it up. The Bengals are having some troubles at the WR spot, and Mo could definitely see some playing time. He could be a pretty good receiver in the NFL. Reminds me a lot of Marques Colston for the Saints. Taller guy with not a whole lot of speed, but a great nose for the ball and pretty solid hands. Good luck Mo!
  4. The people that drive me nuts are the ones who yell at kids who are in that 7-10 year old range to sit down. I remember the first Husker game I went to when I was about 8, I had seats in about the 5th row and there was no way for me to see over the players unless I stood up. Some guy kept yelling at me to sit down. Just this year at the Red White game I saw the same thing happen to another kid who was probably about that age. Those kind of people make me so mad. Let the kids enjoy the game. And I really don't think they should move the student section. They need to be close to the field so they can have an impact on the game. The only good thing about them moving is the fact that my tickets are high in the southeast corner so I should have better seats this year.
  5. Man I can't wait to see what Thenarse and Culbert do at the safety spots together...
  6. Same thing and I still haven't gotten mine Haven't gotten mine either...i'm guessing they'll send them out a week or two before...
  7. I've played basketball against him. He's a pretty good athlete. I guess I didn't realize football was his sport...
  8. Watch what you wish for. . Texas A&M = Nebraska South Head Coach ~ EX-NFL Coach Assistant AD ~ Tim Cassidy RB Coach ~ Randy Jordan DL Coach ~ Buddy Wyatt G.A. ~ Zac Taylor Definate similarities to Nebraska of last year. I am glad the coaches got a job. They are good coaches. Good luck A&M. Isn't Bill Byrne the AD there too?
  9. Hmm....I think this Texas running back could work for my Bears....
  10. I don't know if anyone else posted this, and I don't know if this is the right spot, but the Chiefs are interested in Bill Callahan for offenseive coordinator. KOLN KGIN Link
  11. Hey was there another "Bill in Lincoln" segment on the 27th? If there was and someone happened to download it, send me a message. I forgot to check the podcast website that day and therefore didn't get that one downloaded...
  12. I am right behind you. Ha...pretty sure 4 of these threads just popped up within 4 minutes of each other.
  13. Just saw it scroll across the bottom on channel 10/11. LSU Board Member thinks Bo will be at NU. http://www.kolnkgin.com/home/headlines/11995921.html
  14. Mo kinda reminds me of Marques Colston of the Saints. Colston is 6'4" 231...not great speed, but what a rookie year he had...
  15. You mean the defense that is third in the nation in total defense? :asshat And don't forget our offense that scored 50+ the last 3 games. 50 > 30....right???
  16. Is that a joke, or did he really do that after being there one day? See for yourself. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3135834
  17. In the end I think this will turn out to be a correct report. (Gettin' confusing with all these "Bo Hired" threads)
  18. Agreed. He has a rather important game tomorrow. I'm sure he wouldn't want any distractions for the team. And yeah he's not denying it. Just saying he doesn't know where they got the information. God knows who Pat Forde's source was.
  19. You're not the only one who has heard that rumor. I heard we'll bring in Turner as offensive coordinator and train him to become the eventual AD. I just don't see that happening right in the beginning of Turner's head coaching career.
  20. I'd love to see Rimington. I think he'd do a great job. Another rumor I heard, which I am almost positive is NOT true is that Turner Gill will return as offensive coordinator and train to be the future AD. It makes no sense at all to me, not to mention Gill is just becoming a head coach. But as I said, Rimington would be pretty good.
