  1. Darnay to Florida would be ridiculous. I'm saying 0 chance that happens.
  2. But surely he wouldn't just mention Nebraska being in it if we weren't. I think it's us.
  3. I'm just wondering what your guy's views are on finding a gem QB in recruiting. Like how many do you think they are per class and how much rankings take into affect. First of all, look how many gems are in the NCAA now. ( I probably won't get them all listed. Lamar Jackson LOU Sam Darnold USC Jake Browning WASH Deshaun Watson Clem Baker Mayfield OKLA Those are the QB's right now I'd say are performing the best. Now I'll list some QB's that I think could become gems, feel free to add some. Josh Rosen UCLA Deondre Francois FSU Wilton Speight MICH Jacob Eason UGA Jake Bentley SCAR These are just a few guys I see performing well, also there's probably more or some disagreements. But, saying I probably missed about 10-15 QB's in the NCAA now that are elite or will be would make 25 elite QB's of 5 classes. Including red shirts. So do you think there are 5 or more elite QB's in each recruiting class? Do you think we have any in Gebbia or O'Brien. I for one am very excited for Gebbia. I think he is very talented QB and seems like a good kid that could become a team leader. Paired with O'Brien who also has a fantastic arm. So another question I have do you think O'Brien or Gebbia will be a gem? Maybe just a great career? Good career? Thought it would be fun to see everyone's opinions since it varies so much with this position. I think we are in good shape with these two guys. Personally I think one of them will have a great season and either a good to great career. These guys look the part but college is a whole new ball game. Thank you!
  4. Calvin for sure. Hopefully Darnay Filaga and Sarrell.
  5. He's got one year left though. Is that really enough for his mom to move? I guess I could see if he's a great player which he seems to be he can go just about anywhere and maybe make NFL if he becomes great.
  6. Happy for these guys. Hopefully they can keep on winning!
  7. I've never been a fan of this defense. It pains me seeing us play 10 yards off the ball on ALL our DB's. We give them easy passes all day long. If our corners are good let them play press and make them earn their yards. I can't believe no coach on our team sees this issue! It's been there since game one and hasn't left.
  8. I'm guessing Broc Bando would too. I mean I'm sure he could live in his families house and room and board is about 60% of the cost of a university right there.
  9. Remember though...the team will be better without shields! I said before that SS was, in my opinion, one of the top 10 Huskers of all time. Yup Shields and Pettaway and we would've been nothing. Heck throw Andrew White in too.
  10. Care to evaluate? Not getting the stupid app to watch.
  11. Started off hot ranked 6th in the nation now. Team looks to be pretty solid With great wrestlers at 133 Montoya, 157 Berger, and 184 Dudley. Will be interesting to follow once we get into duals with all the B1G teams. Iowa, Ohio St., and Penn State are all ranked higher than Nebraska.
  12. Him leaving might have been the best thing for us.
  13. The only way Nebraska will ever be a top 5 team is if we have a top 5 defense. Defense is what builds championships. I could care less scoring 40+ a game. If we allow over 20 PPG, that simply isn't good enough. If we are going to win another Natty it's starting with a mean defense like 2009.
  14. Give me 6 QB's. Most important position in football let's get the best there. If you have a really special QB it can make a team. I feel like we should never have less than 4 QB's. take one each year and put on scholarship redshirt or not so technically have 5. I'd be perfectly fine with that given our amazing QB depth the past 6 years after QB1 has gone down or played injured and not performed to normal abilities.
  15. Generally felt like it was Oregon the whole time. Just from what I saw.
  16. And surely it's been on his mind for some time. He didn't just wake up this morning and think to himself holy moly Nebraska is far from home!
  17. Saw the new post and was just praying he didn't decommit too. Lol
  18. Well we need a DE and everyone thought Guy Thomas is gone. We are pretty much boned at DE still. Staff offer someone in-state?
  19. GUYS**** Things just got very very very interesting. Notre Dame's Loy and also National Wiltfrong are more or less reporting that ND is no longer in strong consideration for Graham. Citing distance as the biggest factor. Notre Dame is 2500 miles from Graham Nebraska is 1500 miles... They aren't saying that they think we are out of it because of this factor, only ND at this time. So are you saying this is good or bad? If distance is a factor for ND, I feel like it would for us too.
