  1. well we could always be like Georgia Tech and sign with russell. That is if you can deal with jerseys that aren't nice enough for a high school team.Under Armour did a very smart thing a few years ago by starting to supply uniforms to high school teams. That got the teenage kids to like their product and brand and enabled a lot of their past growth. Now UA has $ to throw at Notre Dame and Texas is going to be the next big fish they go after. I totally agree. My high school was a Nike school so I know their jersey's feel great. we played a couple of adidas teams that always looked like their players were struggling to breath

  3. normally I'd agree with this logic, but when I went to the boneyard bash at the end of august (the practice that was open to all students) I saw Jordan take a rep at kickoff, and initially I noticed his belly from how out of shape he was. However, despite the fact he looked chubby, the guy could flat out fly and amazed all of us in the stands. If the coaches think he's ready at this point, I say turn him loose. He has too much athletic ability to keep off of the field.
  4. I actually stood next to that guy. Thanks to him I was on TV a lot
  5. it must suck living such a pessimistic life. Psssst....he's a troll....don't feed him.... withdrawn
  6. why not hate both? One has an annoying fan base and the other consistently kicks the crap out of us.
  7. honestly I could see the coaches doing that just to troll us.
  8. Even though I feel that his actions have been despicable the last couple of weeks, I won't boo him and feel anyone who does is a loser for booing a college kid. That being said, I'm certainly not going to cheer when he's announced on the screen.
  9. Not rocket science, give to the damn running back and run the clock out. The incompetent staff screwed this up, just like they, did against BYU and Miami. and just like they almost did vs. Southern Miss...
  10. you weren't embarrassed to root for a team that lost to Illinois because of some inexcusable coaching errors?
  11. Coach powerT: I missed that. Thanks for the link
  12. Even if we only win one more game, Mike Riley and Co will most likely last through at least next year. I don't necessarily feel that we should even be debating firing him 5 games into his 1st year. That being said, there are threads that are talking about it so hypothetically if he were fired between now and the end of the season, who do we go after? Keep in mind I'm just being hypothetical so there's no need to defend why Riley should not be fired on this thread.
