Fear not…or prolific offense is next

If we suck today, can I ask for reimbursement for my $6.50 for stupid peacock?

I can’t decide if I should pay the one month peacock subscription to watch our offense suck and underperform. After last week’s game, my hopes for this offense have vanished.

Basically starting next year we should not expect to play in the Big ten championship anytime soon. Especially with our offense. Unless Rhule pulls some magic, I do not see us competing for a conference championship in the next 5 years (or more).

I learned that being in the BIG West helped us get some wins because the truth of the matter is that our offense cannot win games had we played teams with a pulse. We are not a good team and the cupboard is empty. Rhule is doing the best he can with what we have but we need to recruit talent on offense. Our entire offense is lackluster to say the least. Haarberg is not a QB that can lead this team to many wins. One might argue that Haarberg is not a QB. Next season will not be easy and unless we get some real talent in the offseason, we might not get 4 wins next year. let us face it, we all watched many games today and ours was the most boring and frustrating game. It is as if we are in a league of our own. Even Illinois played inspired football and beat Minnesota in their home.

Everyone looks beatable until we play them and suddenly they become world beaters or we make them look like world beaters. That is our super power since Bo was fired.

May be our women’s volleyball team can have a meeting with our loser football team and teach them about husker pride and what it takes to come from behind and win.

This consequences of this loss are very detrimental to our progress. This loss (1) Took away any chances (if any) to win our division. Killed any glimmer of hope. (2) Severely decreased our chances to make a bowl. (3) Killed the momentum and confidence the team built over the past three weeks (4) Gave our remaining opponents a manual on how to render our defense and offense ineffective. our next three opponents will tear us apart unless this team finds a way to play with intensity and purpose. We did not come to today’s game with a winning mindset. We came thinking we had the game sealed.

The coaches can’t catch balls on the field and they can’t throw a block or make decisions on when to get rid of the ball and not throw into triple coverage. That is on the players. While I do not think that satterfield is a long term solution and I definitely think that Raiola needs to go yesterday, i believe in what Rhule is doing and his process. I have seen some positive steps. Our players are not talented. You either have it or you don’t. Our players don’t. The few good talent we had is injured. Today’s game was lost by our players, not refs or coaches. They came in thinking they will beat a 2-6 team and they were punched in the gut and sent home with their tails between their legs.

We can blame refs all day long. I am not defending refs. They are incompetent and that is not going to change. However, we should not have been in that position to begin with. We had many opportunities to seize control of the game and we did not. We kept Michigan state in the game and we let them dictate the tempo. We lost thus game and not the refs. Everyone is happy with the “just win baby” until we don’t win. Our offense is a division III offense at best. We were lucky that the teams we played were bad. Our luck ran out and the end result is that we do not have a good team to keep winning close games.

You can’t win many games with this QB and this OL. They should walk home. They are shameful. Losing to a horrible Michigan state team is just not progress.

Our players are not special. I don’t blame the coaches. Our players suck

GAME OVER. we do not the QB to come from behind. He is not accurate to begin with and with pressure he is even worse.

We can’t get a first down so our field position is horrible all game long. Unless something amazing happens, we have not shown that we can score two times in 9 minutes. We seem to be getting worse every week on offense but today our defense has not played well either.

We are playing without a QB and without an OL.
