  1. The last gasps of a desperate man who is about to lose his job... and deservedly so.
  2. Completely incorrect. In the first article you've even got Kirk Herbstreit saying that Frost is ready. Frost is a hot coaching name right now, and his offense is still a beast in Oregon without Mariota. http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2014/12/scott_frost_to_leave_oregon_it.html http://www.testudotimes.com/maryland-terrapins-football/2015/11/1/9650368/Scott-frost-maryland-coaching-search-candidates http://www.chicagonow.com/daily-chicago-sports-tab/2015/08/scott-frost-the-man-for-champaign/ With the way the media raved about the Mike Riley hire, I would take any opinion from them with a boulder of salt. There is no way he's going to either Illinois or Maryland. That said... Oregon's offense has struggled this year against teams that matter. See Utah. Full judgement will be held out until they play Stanford though. They rotated their 2nd and 3rd team QB's that game. Still didn't have their AA talent receiver in Carrington. Defense sucks regardless. Also, there has been speculation from Oregon that they though that Utah was stealing signals.... Which is also why Oregon used those big white sheets on the sideline Thursday vs ASU. They are definitely not the same offense without Mariota but the struggles they endured offensively was when VA was out, or when VA had his broken index finger on his throwing hand. Oregon used the sheets because Utah told them they thought Arizona State was stealing signals, not because Utah was.

  4. Problem with Frost is that absolutely no one outside of Nebraska is talking about him for a head coaching vacancy... and the only reason Nebraska is, is because he played for the Huskers. That's a poor reason to hire someone. I mean if everyone above Frost says no, then go after him with your gamble... But there are so many more choices that are more experienced and are a great fit for Nebraska. Tom Herman is the absolute perfect fit for the Huskers, and honestly he should have been hired last year.
  5. There's a difference between being a good fan and being a blind, kool-aid drinking sunshine pumper. You can absolutely call for the firing of coaches and be a good fan if you believe it's the best thing for the players and the program.
  6. I'm still amazed with the amount of Nebraska fans with this "Boo how we can't do anything so why even try" Debbie downer attitude. Most have turned to realize they have to do something to save the program they love, but ffs there is so much you can do. Organize an orderly march to the AD and pack up his office for him if you have to.
  7. When you guys hired Riley, I posted about how shocked I was... How horrible of a hire it was... How you've basically gone from a 4 loss coach to a 4 win coach... I showed data of how bad Riley was at Oregon State... and I begged you guys to stand up for your program as boosters, alumni, students, and fans... and reject this hire and the "process" (One name, one interview) Shawn Eichorst used to make it. I did this because I love Nebraska football and the B1G. I used to live in Omaha, and I'll never forget how amazing Nebraska and their fans were. ...yet I was ridiculed, demeaned, told to "focus on my own pedo team", told how wrong I was because he's such a nice guy and the media was "raving" about the hire, and then banned by the mods. Welp here we are today. I don't mean to rub it in about how right I was because I do love you guys, I can only wish you had listened instead of drinking the Kool-aid. But no matter that now. Now you need to get past these people who insist you can't fire after one year because you'll "look bad". You absolutely can... Southern Miss did it, and they are better off for it. Plus you ALREADY LOOK FREAKING HORRENDOUS... keeping him will only lead to lost transfers, recruits, and an even more difficult rebuilding job for the next coach. This is setting up to be the worst season in Nebraska football history. You can't afford to keep this joke of a staff.
