  1. I suppose this is a lot easier than following up on your claims when you tried to prove me wrong
  2. You’re wrong again. So you’ve got quite the streak going.
  3. I agree. They look different from last year. But whats killing us right right now is simple fundamental football.
  4. If you believe that this team went from doing zero squats to squatting over 700 I’m wondering if -you- understand strength and conditioning.
  5. So far you’ve changed your stance in three consecutive posts. Guess that’s settled
  6. Yes were you listening to what was being said the last 8 months?
  7. It’s weird you blame Riley when there are Frost recruits at the skill positions and Pelini guys starting on the line. This team is regressing as the season goes on and that is solely on who’s in North Stadium right now.
  8. It really didn’t help that the athletic director (the athletic director!) decided to open his mouth about how Harbaugh and Meyer “were losing sleep over the Frost hire). It was amateur hour at best and nonsense hubris at worst
  9. No one on this staff or team had any problem saying how they were reversing it in nine months. Im not asking for “success now”. I don’t think not wanting a loss to a sun belt team and a record setting loss in Ann Arbor was expecting too much. And literally no one is asking for a change.
  10. You’re wrong. The guy who had an eight part graphic novel written about him before he coached a game here and is the only coach who wouldn’t be on a pike after this start isn’t getting enough support
  11. SMU played Michigan 21 points closer than we did. Boise State beat Troy by 36. Do I think being 0-3 right now and setting the record for the largest deficit at halftime is a talent issue? No. We lost to Michigan because they have more talent. We got blown out by Michigan because our coaches haven’t done anything at this point to eliminate turnovers, penalties, and missed assignments/alignments. And sadly, it doesn’t appear any better a third of the way through the season than it did last year. In some areas, it actually looks worse. This is about the worst start you could have seen. And it’s not attributed to a thunderstorm, or a dirty play from Colorado.
  12. No. Frost will have time but this isn’t a “last shot”
  13. If you compare the historical weather between Lincoln and Troy in July and August, it wasn't much different this year. Lincoln had 23 days in those two months where the high was 90 or above. Troy had 26. It's not like one team was running the guantlet in conditioning and the other wasn’t. It's not like heat and humidity in Lincoln is some sort of new phenomenon. We literally had fans passing out at the stadium against Southern Miss a couple years back.
  14. Not unless you can recruit like Saban you can’t. Those players don’t just appear.
  15. This is true. And I also think Saban has a lot to do with getting “15 first round picks” every year.
  16. If there was actually a choice, which obviously there wasn’t, you should take Saban over Frost every single day of the week and that’s not meant to disparage Scott Frost in any way.
  17. Flash back to November 2017. Moos takes the podium and announces he’s pulled the coup of college football history and Saban is coming to Lincoln. In this scenario you’re -less- excited than you were with Frost?
  18. When Saban took over MSU, they hadn’t had a winning season in years. When he left in 99, they were 9-2. Which is what I said. Yes Dantonio is also a good coach.
  19. What? Admitting Saban’s great has no bearing on Scott Frost or his prospects. Frost has the potential to be great here, but he’s made some errors. You clearly don’t want to talk about any of that so I’ll cease.
  20. Saban took a lower tier big ten MSU team and had them in the top ten when he left for LSU, who had never been relevant and had them winning the national championship, when he (stupidly) went to the nfl, then resurrected a Alabama team that was suffering a low much like Nebraska and has literally owned college football with them. I guess I’d like to know what else he had align for him everywhere he’s been
  21. You may hate him, and that’s fine, even understandable. But Nick Saban is on the very short list of best football coaches ever
  22. I mean, its only a 19 year old and his health and future. He is far from a hack, but he should have protected his backup situation far better than he did
  23. I was speaking more to Bookie (who's seeing significant time on OU as a true freshman) Sarell was the longest of shots
