  1. Even though the Congress is Republican and behind Trump shouldn't they be obligated to doing their job? Obviously not but as this goes on it makes our political system look more and more like a joke
  2. I really am dumbfounded over how this is allowed to fly. In my opinion Trump needs to be removed from office. Not because I think he is a massive idiot but because it is clear there are conflicts of interest happening all of the time. This is a business move not public service and I didn't think that was allowed? Could be wrong but seems to me he should be booted on those grounds even though that will never happen
  3. If it's a Heisman caliber type season. will it take that much though? Look at Trubisky But you may be right too. Not sure what scouts have on him
  4. Is Lee a top 10 pick with a great season? Archie Manning seems to think he is talented enough.
  5. Just a question about OSU qbs, how many of those guys are athletes that could potentially switch positions? Seems like OSU recruits alot of those multi position guys on offense
  6. You may be right Matty and I agree we should trust OCDL in the recruiting process no matter what he does, because he has definitely upgraded our QB talent in his short time here. Shoughs film does look good but DL is a little better at evaluating talent than I am lol
  7. The sad thing is you aren't wrong Knapp. The higher ups understand how to manipulate a subconscious mind
  8. I love Shoughs film I hope we do end up offering
  9. It will be interesting to see what '18 looks like. I would say pretty good already
  10. Really enjoyed that article though. Riley's vision is to forever change college football...shoot for the stars my man! That's the kind of attitude we need
  11. I wouldn't say we are striving for 50/50 more so the cards will just play that way. Riley continues to reiterate that his offense isn't pass focused so I think they are going to at least try to run the ball as much or more than we pass. It's annoying that people continually want to peg this offense as pass first when that's not what this staff has done since they have been here. They have run the ball more both years and while we do have a more effective QB now I don't see them abandoning their philosophy. We will just be more deadly when we do throw the ball.
  12. Firstly, eye test. Are we able to dominate the line of scrimmage and push the D back consistently on run plays. If we are doing this along with pulling and trapping we are already better than last year. We have to get our YPC up. I would like to see us in the top 6 in the league in several rushing statistics (ypc, per game) we were 9th last year so it is going to take a noticeable difference to improve to that level. All of this coincides with scoring points and winning games. Obviously that can't be the only metric because there are other factors that play into those outcomes, but I think if we can improve our rushing attack to top 6 in the league it will go a long way in making those outcomes favorable for us. I think it is a given our passing game will get better and that's less on the o line so I'm not as concerned with the passing stats as it relates to line improvement.
  13. Mazour has a little more wiggle to him than Janovich did, but the comparison is apt. The only comparison between the two is they are both white ball carriers from Nebraska. It ends there. They are probably real coaches on the field type guys too.Not saying he isn't but what in the world has Mazour done so far to earn that label of coach on the field? That was a joke Typical stereotype given to white players. Mazour isn't like Woodhead? He led the white team in receiving
  14. Agree with you there. He just looks like a nasty bad boy as my wrestling coach Joe Yauney would say
  15. the footwork is so great to see. What a blessing when your QB throws from his front foot
  16. I can understand that I suppose, but hopefully he turns the light on soon because if not Lee should be on the field imo. I really like what he brings
  17. Exactly what I thought about Jackson as well. I liked Eric Lee a little more thought he was more aggressive but I'm sure Lamar is more skilled overall
  18. Similar to the defense, the offense was also pretty vanilla. Don't get too caught up in the spring game, the offense for actual games will look much different. Situationally yes. Make no mistake though. Nebraska is going to be a pro stye/passing emphasized team going forward. I know we'll still incorporate a running game obviously. Interesting stat. Nebraska threw the ball 95 times yesterday. They ran the ball 40 times. that's not what Riley has said. Doubt we would see that in a real game. Riley has been quoted multiple times he wants to run the ball in a balance offense. We will be in the 50/50 range. Last year we were closer to 60/40 in favor of the run (57% runs I believe)
  19. I don't see anyone being condescending. I see someone stating facts. facts that don't need to be brought up. I get the class ranking won't mean much this year. I understand this class isn't finalized and we will probably drop as teams sign more recruits. But we are making a surge right now and it is fun to speculate and see that we are right up there with the best in the nation right now. Obviously that would change. Yes captain obvious was stating facts, but he was stating them as if he was the only one possessing this information.
  20. Ok man I get it doesn't mean jack, can you please stop being condescending now? I understand this class needs to be judged on player average, I know the class isn't final today. I'm not an idiot
  21. I don't think we could have had a better weekend recruiting. In fact I know we couldn't have since Bookie broke his commitment date to commit this weekend
  22. The cycle of hatred will one day end. He is risen, he is risen indeed, Hallelujah!!
  23. I understand how things are gonna go as far as team rating goes but it's just cool that we are up there as of now?
  24. Well with the 3 we think may already be N, that would put us in between Clemson and OSU at #6 in the rankings and significantly increase our per player rating as well
