James Williams probably would have had at least 3 sacks if QB were live. 2 and a holding call for sure. He uses his hands really well and he gets low and dips his shoulder very nicely. One play he dipped and ripped and #71 basically had him in a headlock and he was still able to get to the QB. Would have been a holding call (especially if he didn't play for Nebraska). He needs to be on the field for every 3rd down and 5+ to go.

it takes work definitely, especially if you didn't have to do it a ton in HS and you are the fastest guy on the field. it would be an adjustment.

su'a Cravens was a 220 lb safety at USC. Brian Urlacher was like 230 playing SS. I'm sure there are more guys who have weighed at least 220 who played safety.

I haven't watched him play. just my thought that if he's that athletic maybe don't try to have him be an undersized LB but a normal sized S/SS. I also think we have enough guys waiting at both those position he will just end up a depth piece. He only had one tackle at Montana so I wouldn't even say he's a special teams guy

DR and Loyd seem to have some pretty good chemistry. Throughout all these clips over the spring DR finds him and get him a catchable ball. Loyd has also made some pretty nifty grabs
