Everything is good except for that roughing the kicker call on him. Can't really blame him, as I don't see him having a lot of practice time with the special teams unit.

I dunno. Yes, a playoff would be a hell of a lot less controversial. But i also think this season is a perfect example of why we don't need a playoff. Look at how much we pay attention to every game. The whole season is a big playoff system. A playoff does not mean the best two teams get in, either. Look at the Cardinals, or the Rockies, or the Cavaliers. A playoff rewards a good team at the end, and that could promote dogging towards the end of the regular season and rivalry games would mean almost nothing. Lose one and who cares, we can always move through the playoffs. I am not saying the BCS is perfect, because it is far from it. The bowl system will not go away, and I think we can only realistically hope for a plus one. I don't like the lay-off either, but at least I enjoy watching the three months of a regular season that means something. I hate to see teams get thrown off to the side, but so far I have not seen a system that I think will give us the best of both worlds. At least this gives us something to complain about.

OK, just to speed things up a little bit, I've created a "form post" for everyone to use when they tell us who the new coach and staff will be... According to my source, Billy C, who is a very close ex head coach to the Huskers said the new coach is going to be "I don't give a s#*t" While personally I'm hoping this isn't true because I want someone who DOES give a s#*t, it all makes sense when you consider Bill probably hates all of us and said no one could do a better job than he did. Just look at how good ganz is doing. My source tells me that the OC will be Joey Ganz, because he's obviously a west coast mastermind. and that the Nebraska tradition will be upheld by bringing in Jason Peter and his scarf that he wore to the Colorado game. No planes were used in this hiring. This proves why no one else heard anything about it.

I'm still thinking he stays. Draft class is too deep, and if he wants to prove his durability another year will do him good. Word isn't out on him like he would want if he were to enter the draft.
