  1. Which NC Games get cancelled (or moved back to next year)? I'm guessing we keep the games with Creighton & K-State. The K-State game may move to a campus site and the game in KC may be moved to one of the next two years. Myrtle Beach Invitational will probably be in Orlando but will have to be rescheduled because it was going to be 11/19-22. ACC may not want to play the ACC/B1G challenge this year. They are on record as not wanting to play NC games. UMKC may stay on the schedule because they are close & wouldn't need to fly to get to Lincoln. Lamar & Florida A&M are probably out because of travel unless they were going to play Creighton or UNO while they were in Nebraska.

  5. I don't remember ever being told that there was no Santa, but I know I had to pretend to believe until I was in high school because we always got together at my aunt & uncle's house and my oldest cousin was 10 years younger than me. I stopped getting presents from my aunt & uncle but got them from "Santa" at their house so my cousins would still believe.

  8. Here's possibly the dumbest idea I've ever seen. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/college-basketballs-nonconference-scheduling-issue-can-be-solved-with-bracket-play-to-start-season/
  9. I'm not sure how they'd set up a bracket with 350+ teams.
  10. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/documents-show-how-college-basketball-in-a-bubble-could-be-played-at-connecticuts-mohegan-sun-in-december/ Doesn't mention the Myrtle Beach Invitational, but I'd guess they are working on a similar plan with ESPN.
  11. Looks like everyone in CBS Sports top 20 transfers who has tried to get a waiver has or is still waiting to hear from the NCAA. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/college-basketball-transfer-waivers-kentuckys-olivier-sarr-texas-techs-mac-mcclung-among-those-waiting/
  12. I have, but the NCAA seems more open to immediate eligibility this year. I suspect that it is because they know the rule on immediate eligibility will probably change soon. It was assumed that it would have changed for this year, but they put it off until their next rules committee meeting.
  13. Haven't seen anything on him being immediately eligible, but everyone I've seen a headline on has been. That seems like a good sign.
  14. Upside to the G League is $$, basketball/training all day every day and no classes. Down side is no exposure.
  15. If he goes through the G League's professional pathway program (the only way he's getting 300k), they only play 10-12 games against "grown men" and the rest of their time is working on their game including getting into the weight room.
  16. The offer from LSU won't mean much after they are put on probation & Coach Wade is fired for his "strong a$$ offer" and more to recruits.
  17. Looks like the NCAA is doing everything they can to get a full season in. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/the-ncaa-is-currently-exploring-these-four-potential-start-dates-for-the-2020-21-college-basketball-season/
  18. I've said it before, just don't go to Creighton. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go the G League route if they make a 300k+ offer.

  22. it seems like plenty of time, but three months ago I'd have said that COVID would much closer to under control by now.
  23. Iowa shutting down workouts. Didn't they have to shut down their football team for COVID too? https://omaha.com/sports/college/huskers/teams/mens-basketball/iowa-mens-basketball-team-pauses-workout-following-two-positive-covid-19-tests/article_56bcff86-6c8a-5463-a672-71110071a7b6.html

  25. Hopefully the team is better this year (if they play at all) and it will be easier to keep high level in-state players from going elsewhere.
