playing a 100 plus rated defense didn't hurt. Not trying to take anything away, but I'm waiting to play a decent defense before I pat the offense on the back.

Unfortunately for you Cy, all of the really important turnovers you guys forced last year happened inside the 5 yard line (4 of them in all)... And since our offense generally only scores from 50 yards or further away, your best option is probably to just put a couple spies on Martinez and have them wait for him at the goal line. Martinez...bah. We're gonna be running that new 1-3-4-4 defense that Wally drew up on a cocktail napkin at the bar last night. Prepare to be shocked! your posts never fail- hahaha

It's working well with crappy defenses. Here's hoping that when we play better teams this won't be a turnover in the mesh point area

I heard the fox announcer say this because cuz the place kicker for Tech's name is Matt Williams. I work with a Matt Williams and everyone- i mean from the secretary to the kitchen staff, say this when referencing our Matt Williams. I just found it really funny and wondered if anyone else says that when they hear Matt Williams.

Did anyone see something thrown at Martinez when he broke one of his long runs in the 2nd half? It was when he crossed approx their 25 yard line. I haven't had time to watch again, but I thought I saw something fly down from the stands.

It was a nice win, but I think, as the #7 team, we still have alot to prove and that can only happen after playing another top 10- so it's gonna be awhile before I am sold. I have to see what Martinez will do when pushed. But it was a nearly flawless game against a team that should be ranked around the 25-20 range.

Not if Louisiana-Lafayette have a say about it on Friday night. Laugh if you want, but the Cajuns want to have a winning streak(they actually won last night)! We live in the Lafayette area and will be having a hugh tailgate party friday evening and now I don't know who to go for.
