Agree about the big screen in the South. The ribbon boards are cool. I wish they would scroll the scores from the other games, but maybe that would be too much visually. I was disappointed with the tunnel walk. I thought it was kinda of boring. I also am disappointed with nearly everyone who sat around me. Young and old were complaining about people standing up, especially in the first quarter. If that bothers you and people standing up and yelling bothers you, watch it on PPV.

I don't think she has that yet, but maybe? I know last week the AF had presented her five or six different job. One was working on a surveillence plane and I think she liked that one best because she wants to live overseas for as long as she can. I know another was a survivialist instructor. I cannot see her eating live animals.

My 18 year old neice just committed the next 6 year to the Air Force. I am looking for suggestions for a small gift that she may find useful during her basic training. Ideas? BTW - we are so very proud of her!!!

Didn't Farley play in the NFL way longer than LP? Farley was a great college player as kind of a hybrid LB CB. They don't use many LB's of his size in the NFL. LP or Johnny Rogers dribbled way more down their leg than Farley did. I realize he had scrapes with the law and such, but he did go on to have a NFL career. I agree about Farley. What a waste. I don't think he ever played past his suspension from NU. He just kinda sank into bolivia(as Mike Tyson would say). I think he is one of my favorite players ever with as much raw talent as anyone whoever stepped on the field.

Watson will probably leave at some point, but it will only be for a HC gig at a university the caliber of Nebraska. I mean last season he turned down an offer for a lateral move to Alabama. Refresh my memory, was it a O coordinator job or a QB coach offer? offensive coordinator, but he'd be answering to nick satan. wats got a pay bump as an incentive to stay, but to be honest i wouldn't want to work in a nuthouse like alabama. Looking at Satan's record he will probably be gone in three years. The guy suffers from adult ADD. Which would leave an HC job open. I guess Watson is really true to the Huskers but will probably have to leave with a solid D-1 offer.

I thought it was well written- and accurate. He was an absolute beast on the field, but unfortunately he was also a beast in the community. I don't know what's going on with him today.
