** 2019 Opponent Previews : Minnesota (Game 7) **
10_point_buck replied to Saunders's topic in Husker Football
Early forecast for the Twin Cities is cold, windy and maybe wet. Way too early to know if it will be wet or not, but the cold and windy are almost a given from what I have seen so far in the forecast models. Wind will be similar to the game Saturday vs Northwestern, but I have no clue on how the stadium in MN is with wind as some are worse than others. (Hinze Field) -
Please clear the cobwebs for me. How do people "know" that AM is that much better at QB than NV ? Yes, he should be better as he clearly won the job and he clearly was the guy last year too, and finally Scotty Frosty says he is better, but.......how do we truly know? NV has never played 4 quarters and was behind a heck of a lot better QB at UCF but even then saw the field at times. If you are truly going to be honest, we don't know what NV will do in a full 4 quarter game and he could be great, he could be average, could even be a flop but as a fan base we JUST DONT KNOW.

Yes, but Frosty doesn’t want to even hear that especially after he hyped the kid up so much
-
Just like at center, right?

If Martinez was the one throwing the pass, we would have lost. If you want to go there
-
Tacky how? Frosty hyped him up and made him the golden child, right? You are telling me this would go on in any other program? Maybe if the dude was not a square peg being forced into a circle, there would be less chatter. The number of bad plays we have on offense due to his penalties, bad snaps, or him getting whooped is not acceptable. It is hard to think this is our only and best option.

We must have the best practice players ever at center and QB. I mean both are off limits to discuss with the media, both can continue to make mistakes with no punishment, both are the next Outland and Heisman winners too. I’d love to see it on Saturday.....but what we talkin bout here is practice

Really.....so, what should his read be when the center snaps the ball over his head? Yep, that is on the QB. AM is a basket case along with #51. If you can’t even acknowledge that, no more to discuss.

Let’s trade coaching staffs with OSU and see what happens. Frosty and Co are having a tough time adjusting to power 5 football
