  1. This is also what I'd like to see. Link to article on Stringfellow...super prospect and kid can block...I like it...get him N. http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/2012/5/10/3009434/film-scouting-evaluation-wide-receiver-demorea-stringfellow-rancho-verdes-latest-top-prospect Interesting read on the breakdown of this player. Do we have any coach on the staff that would teach this kid in the areas of weakness? Next, would we utilize his strengths or just make him another blocking WR? Both are questions I can't honestly answer. Still hopeful we open up the passing even though we are in a power running conference.
  2. All good thoughts above. For me I consider a JUCO if he is s big impact player regardless.
  3. Wrong sir. sh#t happens in the recruiting game from time to time. Given the facts at the time, I just saw a guy that is in SEC country, playing at home every other year(against A&M), close to home, and playing for an elite defense and program and didn't like NU's chances. I was wrong and glad to be. Nice pick up. Would rather him stay at DE. Strongside DE is perfect for the kid. There is a more pressing need there than on the inside. As with all commits, let's hope this stays solid for the remainder. So true Crew. And,I know that if we were to lose this recruit to the SEC you wouldn't post "wrong sir" and gloat. Thst's what I love about your Husker spirit!
  4. Has some shiftiness and power. Can see him in the B1G.
  5. There is so much depth at LB this year for us ... so many good LB recruits .... I'd be sad if we didn't take three.
  6. I like it. His strength was always blocking.
  7. I like this better! :-) For anyone who wants to know ... you make it by putting a colon, then the words "bigredn" and follow it by a colon. No spaces. It's purdy!
  8. Adding to the discussion ... didn't we get a pretty good QB walk-on last year as well? I know we got a 3 star RB walk on. Fife or something for QB. I'd think two is max ... both in numbers and I wouldn't see a quality QB coming in with two other stud QB's.
  9. Man, I pass on this guy if I have to look at this. :-). Too funny Irie!
  10. I give Mizzou far more credit then some will. They have become a Top 20 program. They seem to always play us tough so I respect them for that. I see them struggling but at the same time getting better recruits. It won't surprise me to see them dominate their bowl games either.
  11. Michigan has 7 already. Ohio State has 4 in the Top 100. Amazing to see what Michigan has already coming there way. GULP.
  12. My "wants" would be: 4 LB's 4-6 CB's (FS, SS) 2-3 DT's 3 DE's 4 OL's 1 TE's 1 RB 1 WR 1 QB 1-2 ATH
  13. Probably the best :star :star blocker we ever recruited ... he blocked on the plays he wanted to. He also caught the passes that didn't ever really matter. He always had me "hopin'" he'd come through ... which made watching him very exciting ... never knowing or expecting much of anything good from him. For me, he wasn't just a bust ... cause the guys mistakes lost games ... and his leadership also hurt ... didn't expect this from him.
  14. Look in the mirror dude. Mr. Holier than thou. Knapp ... "Mr. Holier [sic] then thou"? Oh my ...
  15. Catches the ball on a screen ... novel idea.
  16. Surprised to see him rated just a :star . My guess is that is just Scout. I think he is a :star :star
  17. Agreed Enhance, guess I heard all these comments about all the offenses we should run ... and we will have the same problems if we don't major on basic football fundamentals. I fear for Bo if it continues.
  18. I have yet to see this offense do anything basic to see if there are any changes needed. Overall, not enough ball security, too many dropped passes, poor blocking, penalties, loss of focus, lack of leadership. How does one recommend a change in an offense that at its core is its own worst enemy? If we can just play solid football I think these kinds of threads become fewer and have less input.
  19. My guess would be Texas will wrap him up soon.
  20. Nice comments from the young lad.
  21. Plenty of diseases in the $EC ... many in the recruiting form.
