Oklahoma is too tough of a team to schedule when we haven't been close to a national title contender since 2001. Old revival or not, I'd try to get out of that series.
Martinez has been inaccurate all season. High snaps and high throws. With our horrible special teams, we can't get FGs or good field position. That is not good for close games.
1st INT: Throw to the outside instead of the inside and the receiver makes the play.
2nd INT: Hit the receiver in stride and it is a TD.
3rd INT: WTH
We aren't beating more than 2 more teams if we keep up with the multiple turnovers a game. Most teams aren't as bad as Illinois.
There is nothing wrong with learning from the bench if you are struggling. It is an unwinnable game, so why expose him to injury? We should also get the backups some experience.
Wisconsin and Iowa could easily beat us by at least 4 scores, though. We turn the ball over too much. If we don't solve that, we won't win more than 2 more games.
