Bo said after the Oklahoma State game that he was glad that the Huskers didn't have to play the Cowboys again. He probably spoke too soon, as it looks like a rematch for the B12 championship. Okie State is a tough team....could knock-off the 'skers in a rematch. A&M is hot...will be a tough game on the road. The Huskers haven't looked like a dominant team despite their top ten ranking. Played poorly against SDSU and unimpressive again ISU. Lost to Texas which is going to haunt them for the rest of the year. The worst that the Huskers can do, IMO, is three loses. Hope I'm wrong, though, and they win out. GBR

Agree. Enough of the Cody hating. Given the circumstances in Ames, he did fine. It's not like Martinez never fumbles. Cody didn't commit any turnovers that resulted in loss of possession...that is what kept us in the game. If Martinez is hurt, it's best not to play him - for his own safety. Kansas doesn't know which quarterback to prepare for and that's probably what Bo wants. so back to the orginal topic of this thread...does anybody have any information about the exact nature of Zac's injury...besides what Bo has told the press. That is, can anybody substantuate the rumor presented in this thread? I am worried that Zac's year is done because there have been a couple of prolific posters to this board who have stated that their sources have said so.

If true...that is unfortunate. Lee is a workhorse...a team player. Plus, he's the only qb that I would trust when we have to rely on a passing attack. What exactly is the nature of his injury?

He was pulling Klein to get off of Burkhead. Then the refs flew the flag at Legate for Unnesscary Roughness after the TD. Then Bo goes and lits up Legate on the sideline. Legate didnt argue back just stood their and took it I believe. You have to remember that Bo wasn't watching the game on ABC. He was on the sideline. I'm sure that the only thing he know is that Legate got the penalty and wasn't aware of what actually transpired. I hope that the coaches give Legate the credit he deserves after they watch the film.

I'm not going to bet with anyone, but I would agree that Green probably won't be a Husker. I would think that Nebraska moving to the B10 would have a lot to do with it. If Nebraska were still in the B12, his friends and family could still watch him play. The fact that he'll entertain a Texas visit just adds fuel to speculation that he's Texas=bound. I give is 70% to 30% Texas at this point. Hope things change or that I'm flat out wrong. BTW, I'm happy to finally contribute to this ridiculously long thread!!

Hey...I think that some posters aren't guite grasping the idea of this post. We're supposed to be complaining....not being optimistic or supportive. For goodness sakes, I'm sure that husker fans have a lot to complain about so let it out!!!!!
