Do you really think any of our O-line will get drafted.. They could barely run block for 2 to 3 quarters a game now. How they gonna do it on the next level??

I love Pelini but I kinda agree with Peters...

I love it and Agree 100%. We have some players on this team and we have some talent. But by no means do we have ATHLETES to go toe to toe with the SEC. I was so pissed watching the game. That Gamecock team came to play with fire and attitude. They hit us in the mouth when the ball went over the middle. Their Dline threw our oline to the ground damn near every play or around the pile. The only player we had they didnt take it and pushed back took it a little to far and got booted out of the game. And I know everyone will disagree with me but until our kids start playing with some real fire and attitude (SUH LIKE ATTIDDUE, MAYBE THATS WHY HE WAS SO GOOD AND ACTUALLY LEARNED UNDER PELINI) and not this U hit me late and its all peachy attitude we wont compete with the BIG boys. We will still win or 8,9 games a year but nothing else.

Only thing I have come to dislike about Martinez is he has no ability to scramble or run a QB draw. Now can he run the Option yes.. The read Option umm not that great. but when you put a pass rush on him he can not figure out how to exscape and break a big one. Or when you call a QB draw like the one against SC in the bowl game. He acted like he didnt know where to go!! Kinda like the option play during the 3rd quarter I think where if he runs to the outside of his lead blocker Legate he is GONE but no he runs to the inside and is tackled. Conner Shaw looked like a better runner them T-Mart.

This game, I thought we took it to the SC d-line. At least, OL is far back on the list of problems yesterday. OTHER then the fact that they threw our Oline around like they were dolls after every play. They man handled them in my opinion.

He also cant scramble or run a QB draw worth a flip. Only way he can run decent is the option. He runs the draws and scambles like he is scared. Take a look at the way Shaw ran the DESIGNED QB draws. Like he knew what he was doing.

He is no Conner Shaw. That guy could throw and if you asks me runs a whole lot more effective then T-Tragic.

About how many game do you think we will get to watch on the Big 10 network. I was hoping and looking forward to seeing quite a few on there but I am not getting my hopes up.

Only Game changers we have is David / T-magic / and Rex. I hate to say it but Fonnzie is gonna be in over his head. Its really sad now that I look at the total lack of game changers we have..

I'm betting more Carolina fans simply because of Geographical convenience...not to mention SEC fans stick together and I don't doubt local SEC fans from the area will go to support the Gamecocks even if they're not die-hard USC fans. It happened the other year when we played UCONN in Birmingham. Quite a few local Bama folks showed up to support the c$%ks. Geographic location does help a bunch but just remember that Nebraska didn't go to the Big Ten Championship game like a lot of our fans were counting on. Our fans want to see them play once more this season and are disappointed about not going to Indy and now have more of a bowl travel budget because that money wasn't spent there. Look for a lot of red in central Florida in a month. The exact same thing can be said of South Carolina...perhaps even more so. Those South Carolina and SEC teams didnt make a road game at USC and Notre Dame look like HOME games like we did either.

This was my 8 yr old this halloween. He loves him some T-Magic ( he wanted his nick name to be J-Magic during ball) and Rex Burkhead. Both my boys 8 and 9 want me to start my own youth football team next year so we can be the Huskers and look like them. Wouldnt that be awesome here in Texas lol.. 2nd picture is my 9 yr old. I was eating lunch with him on career day last week. he wants to play D-line for the Huskers and eventually be the D quordinator.
