  1. If he ends up on the OL, I won’t be unhappy. I just happen to see someone who could be a great pass rusher, which we badly need. But, yes, he could be a great addition, along with Jurgens. Just saying. P.S.: I will especially be happy if Walters lets him run the fumblerooski.
  2. That’s why I believe there are three stars, and then there are three stars — some overrated and some underrated.
  3. I hope it’s DL. He has too much closing speed for him to be on the other side.
  4. He told Greg Smith that he has no leader right now, and he may visit Nebraska in January.
  5. According to Greg Smith: He is expecting a home visit from Herm and the entire defensive coaching staff early this week. He thinks Frost will visit later this week, but it’s not confirmed.
  6. A lot of Iowa fans have questioned Ferentz’s offense for quite awhile now.
  7. There is a CB for Miami at 247. It’s the only CB there right now, and it could be a soft lean as far as I know — I really have no clue. Another source said he is a Miami lean — don’t remember who. So why Miami hasn’t offered is odd, but I hope they don’t.
  8. He apparently is a Miami lean currently. I’m impressed how elusive he is for a tall guy. Has a quick first step and runs pretty fast. I could see him getting faster in the Corn’s conditioning program and being a one-on-one nightmare for DBs.
  9. I like to think Ty is not a second. There are only so many Bama can take. So they have the nice problem on which ones to take and which ones not to. I can see where it can be a close call on their part. So the ones they don’t take aren’t necessarily seconds. Look at Oklahoma with not offering Nance — he looks like a keeper. I was being humorous about taking Bama’s backups, since they aren’t really seconds.
  10. I am excited about this group of Nebrasks kids coming, including Snodgrass. I have to confess something that is really dumb on my part: It took me a long time to warm up to him. Why? Because I didn’t like his last name. Thus, you don’t have to tell how stupid that is. I know. I plead guilty.
  11. Regardless, Wandale is extremely fast, but what is unique about him is his jiggerbug quickness that is rare for someone with his great straight-away speed. I wonder if he has videos of Johnny Rodgers. If he is what we think he will be, that is who many older Husker fans will compare him to. Although Johnny never had Wandale’s great straight-away speed.
  12. Actually, I posted this before I knew Bland may still be N. Oh I hope we get Houston for sure. I’m just seeing we need all the help we can get on defense, as was apparent this last season.
  13. Good news here: Greg Smith is saying Bland is “good to go” for Nebraska, according to multiple sources. Bland had a positive Tweet this morning. See Hail Varsity.
  14. The kid looks very well built and in great physical shape.
  15. According to Hail Varsity, Troy Walters may had visited him today. But Greg Smith said, “Don’t hold your breath.”
  16. This guy also looks like a handful, and should force defenses not to key on Robinson. I’m also excited about Chase. Now let’s gets some more OL and D players.
  17. Has he ever scored six touchdowns in a game? I heard of a shoe salesman who did.
  18. Wandale has more straight ahead speed though — 4.2 I believe.
  19. When you think about how he committed to Kentucky when he was all in for Nebraska, it’s a pleasant surprise, but yet it’s not really surprising. Great pickup.
  20. At Wildcat Lair message board they are really getting nervous. “Why would he go to Nebraska?” One fool said they haven’t been significant since Irving Fryer. Really? What they don’t get is we are ON OUR WAY BACK!!!
  21. Hail Varsity says he is not a priority wirh Bama, but is with the Corn.
  22. Bland told Greg Smith that none of the Nebraska staff have made an in-home visit. His commitment appears to be more than just shaky.
