Yes I was actually just looking into that because of this thread! I agree, it did hurt us a lot, JD NEVER got less than 800 yards receiving here. This year he had 56 for TCU... I wonder if he regrets leaving as well? Granted I dont think that would happen to Wandale if he leaves, I guess just deep down I wanted him to go to the NFL as a husker

Personally I think losing Wandale would be a big, big loss for this program. I cant blame him though- the offense he joined has NOT been the one that was advertised. I hope he stays and we fix it together, but I wish him the best wherver he goes- hopefully its place that can fully use him & his abilities. Another sting for Husker fans if true, he has been one of the few true bright spots of the frost era...

Not trying to derail the thread but Cochoran? Literally and figuratively. Maybe his location helps a lot and the big fish of more fruitful lands will come later. I dont disagree that with double digits wins for guys like Winfrey will definitely help. He is a juco* transfer too, so I imagine he's looking for success now. Which makes sense he'd be looking at teams that were in the playoffs last year as a opposed to a team that went 4-8. My guess is he'd rate that school higher than even a coaching staff he likes better. We've got one great player though, thats for sure.
