I agree with a lot of what everyone is saying. I was mainly trying to paint a scenario that might work where all 3 could end up staying. It's not likely but possible.

In an attempt to not drag this into a "should Maurice play" thread, I willsay only this. A coach can sit a player for conduct detrimental to the team any time they want. The player doesn't have to be found guilty in a court of law for that to happen.

Would love to see a tall WR in this class. Or any class for that matter. But we need some defensive players big time

Even though he was double and even triple teamed at the line, I thought he should have been able to bust through quicker and easier. Like i said, though. Just a small sample and casual observation

Yeah, it's a bit of a stretch for him to get there. Assuming he can get the same ypc as Ozigbo, which would be amazing, he'd need 214 carries on the season. 214 carries/13 games (to include a bowl game) would come to 16 carries per game. So not out of the realm of possibility but certainly an uphill achievement with this type of offense.

He will certainly need to make hay with the carries he gets. But if Ozigbo could get to 1000 without starting the first couple games, I'd say he'll be close if he's anywhere as good.

According to the OWH, there are only 4 senior offensive players on scholarship. And one of them is out for the season (Gaylord).

Oops. I meant ILB. I was curious about this rotation due to Honas being injured last year. I know they said he was a full go a couple weeks ago. I was just more surprised at the redshirt being listed at #2. From what I can tell there are 2 redshirt walk ons listed on the 2 deep. I think that says a lot about a year 1-2 jump in this system. At least I hope so.

As I mentioned, I think they only reduce the chance of him transferring by him not redshirting. Not eliminate it. It may not matter either way. Who knows? But in reality, he needs to be good enough to be able to see the field before we can speculate any further.

I don't believe Frost would play McCaffrey just to avoid redshirting him. My comment was based on McCaffrey being good enough to see the field this season. And I don't think transferring is really in the mindset of the McCaffrey family either but it's also a very new landscape with how transfers are handled so it's too early to know.

I know he's listed at 6-5 but does anyone really think he's going to play DL? For some reason, I see him as becoming a phenomenal guard.
