I understand what you are getting at, but a stimulus can be much different than a tax cut. A straight income tax cut doesn’t give people their money back in most cases because it doesn’t take that amount in the first place. It allows people to keep more of their own money. Any stimulus for the past 20 years hasn’t been the tax payers getting their money back because we overspend the yearly budget and need to borrow that money. The borrowed money is paying for the stimulus and much of the population getting a stimulus pays zero federal income tax.

There has been a boarder issue for decades and you know this. It wasn’t a Trump created issue that Biden inherited from Trump and Trump actually made the issue better during his time and Biden so far has f#&%ed it up royally. Even the Democrats on the boarder counties are pissed.

Hate on DeSantis all you want, just be truthful that you are not happy he has done well with the Florida vaccine rollout and done a well above average with Covid-19 considering the Florida population demographics and where the state stands in deaths per 100,000 to the rest of the states.

Why wouldn’t you want it even more secure? And it’s easy to vote even after any law changes.

It’s not moot, how do you know who is the one filling out the ballot unless you require a copy of ID and/or signature verification when returning ballot? It’s a win/win. Security and access.

Why are so against the best chance of a free and fair election? It’s been documented on here many times that the majority want voter ID. I believe @DevoHusker posted showing even 60% of Black Americans are for voter ID.

The funny part of the GA law is all the people who b!^@h and moan about “Jim Crow” laws yet fail to realize the GA law is more voter friendly than many “progressive” blue states. It’s not shocking to anyone that those who whine the loudest seem to know the least about various states voting laws.

At some point you need to put the blame where it belongs and that is with the Democrats with this. In my view, if people can’t vote either, from 7-7 on Election Day, minimum of 9-5 with option of expanded 9-7 at least three weeks before the election, or decide to apply for absentee within a 3 month period, provide voter ID for absentee when it’s already required for in person, then I guess morons shouldnt vote.

There is no disenfranchisement bill. It has more voting times than many blue states. This has been my point all along too.
