  1. The longer we stay in it the more the pressure builds on OU. Play loose, nothing to lose
  2. Nothing to lose. Just keep throwing punches until nothing is left
  3. Eventually at sometime, someplace this program is going to get the monkey off it's back, play above it's head, and pull out a big upset. Force some turnovers and who knows? Tough place to do it today but why not?
  4. Since this is a gambling thread the heart goes out the window. I'd stay the hell away from this but it's up to the D to generate some sort of pressure and turnovers off of that or it's going to be a track meet. In the first three games their have been a lot of opposing receivers running wide open that the QB flat missed. If that happens tomorrow we won't be so lucky. Without any pressure, giving the points looks like the way to go.
  5. Watching the Game of the Century now NU 35 OU 31 At times OU looked unstoppable that day. Same tomorrow but..... NU 35 OU 31 We're way over due for some luck. We win the turnover battle and the game.
  6. This far into this and still these stories don't stop.
  7. I used to think Barry Switzer was evil incarnate, smoking a cig on the sidelines and stealing all the hopes of a little kid. Love the guy now.
  8. A 1.6% death rate is an extremely deadly virus. Without vaccines and with the Delta variant we all probably would have all been exposed eventually. That works out to 5.25 million deaths in the US. Cut that death rate in half and it's still brutal. And that doesn't include the permanently maimed that lived.
  9. The unvaccinated spread the virus at a higher rate. Your insinuation was that by not getting vaccinated one is not putting others at risk. It's only a risk to the unvaccinated individual, not others. That is false. That was my only point. Anything else your trying to build here is a strawman There is a risk of killing someone if you choose to drive. That's a risk we all accept and we can be as responsible about it as possible. If you choose to drive drunk the risk is much greater and that choice is putting others at risk. An irresponsible choice. Same with running around unvaccinated as can be seen by those states with low vaccination rates currently or recently having higher hospitalization and death rates.
  10. Ummm, please show where I said the vaccinated could not spread covid. I'll wait.
  11. That's for breakthrough infections. It is false that the vaccinated spread the virus as readily as the unvaccinated. I'm still not sure why you're dangling adverse reactions to vaccines to this but go on.
  12. Well speaking of strawmen. You insinuated the vaccinated spread covid, at the same rate as the unvaccinated. That's false. Then you come back with the "small percentage of those getting the vaccination have an adverse reaction, screw them" take. How are these even connected?
