  1. Also I noticed you said coach. Who do you have in mind
  2. Umm Are you basing that off of Callahan when Frank was fired or Bo when Callahan was fired or Mike Riley when Bo was fired or Frost when Riley was fired. Any coach? I remember Houston Nutt was on the table at one point...... I don't think the next coach is going to make what Frost makes. 2.5 or 3 but that is the going rate anyway for most coaches that come here Frost earned more because he was such a hot commodity and home grown.
  3. I have to keep going back to what Frost inherited when they got here, which wasn't much. Frost has recruited well except his top players transfer or get in trouble with the law. I honestly believe that the only true path is to have Frost play out his 7 years and reevaluate after that. If we has let go early by the new AD who are we going to get? If Nebraska is not patient enough for Scott Frost NO OTHER COACH WILL COME HERE. So unless it is a absolute Hole in one, Slam dunk, Grand Slam home run. We are out of options, we must stay the course with Frost. Unless Pete Carrol wants to come back and coach Nebraska I don't see the list of coaches that we could potential get being very strong or a improvement. My short list of coaching candidates that we could get but still unlikely but the only ones I would accept in Order of most likely in my opinion Bill O'brian. I think it could happen. Matt Campbell. not gunna happen. In my opinion going to Michigan Luke Fickle. Also not going to happen. Holding out till Ryan Day moves on and then takes over Ohia state.
  4. Yeah I hear ya bud, I was only counting Ticket and Runza and a water or pop. I usually get a ride down and picked up that cost me 20, Dang! it is closer to 100 bones.....
  5. Yeah I agree, Its not like it is getting any cheaper to go to games. I always thought that they should reward the fans for being so loyal and just for one year or every other year have the price of tickets for season ticket holders go down to what they was in 1962. and then for regular fans have the price for food and drinks go down to the price they was in 62 for the home games. In my opinion that would reenergize the experience. I mean for me solo to go to a game it is 60-80 bucks. A family.... left or right one?
  6. Idk New AD candidates, Stadium expansion, weather is always a good conversation in Nebraska. It's just in my opinion ending the sellout streak willingly is conceding. Say we end it on our terms and then the very next season Nebraska has the best year in 10 years. In my opinion there's just a really big opportunity to have egg on our face if we end it. Then you have the opportunity for the jagaloons at ESPN to run with a million different narratives and make Nebraska look bad because they never miss an opportunity to do that.
  7. Oh well forgive me but this doesn't seem like a conversation that ever needs to be had. I can't find any reason for why we should end the sellout streak. Nor will I ever entertain any ideas for why we should. However it is the offseason so knock your socks off.
  8. What part of "through all kinds of weather" don't you people realize?
  9. Here's the thing winning cures everything, bottom line is if we were winning nine games a year we wouldn't have these conversations outside of maybe the one or two that slip away every so often.
  10. If he goes to misery, I have a sneaky feeling he will end up in the transfer portal within the first year. Then land at SDSU
  11. Bahahahahhahahahahahahhaahaha! Calm down little fella its not that serious.
  12. I have been screaming this from the rooftops since the day they fired Solich. I'm willing to bet that Alabama has at least five candidates to replace Saban when the day comes. It is honestly Beyond me that the powers-that-be that make the decisions completely fumble every opportunity they are given and what boils me the most is that they are being paid and often rewarded for these decisions. I just don't understand how you don't have a plan in place to replace a coach or an athletic director if something like this happens.
  13. The best action our program can take is to let Frost serve his full 7 years and reevaluate after that. It shows that 1 We back our coaches and give them every opportunity to have have success. 2 it shows any potential new coaching hire that we will not abandon them when the water gets choppy. Nebraska can not afford new hire after new hire we need stability continuity with the coaching staff. Recruits would very leery of a program who only gives a coach 3 years to get back to what we was in the 90s. Also Tom Osborne inheriting a back-to-back National Championship team that he was part of the staff with is a lot different than Scott Frost inheriting a gut shot Mike Riley .500 team. We need to give it time 4 years is not long enough. I know how this sounds but Frost has improved the program in every way except the win lose column. But I think we rake a big step forward this year and next.
  14. The rumor I have heard is that a frost doesn't make it to a bowl game this year than he is out after four full years. If that is the case which I hope it is not because I really like Frost and want him to stay and be successful here along with Chins. There are only about three coaches that I would want to come here outside of Saban and Sweeney. Matt Campbell who I feel is going to go to Michigan after Jim Harbaugh is fired this year Luke fickell, who I feel is going to remain at Cincinnati until Ryan day takes an NFL job and then Luke fickell be named Ohio State's head coach. Bill O'Brien, who is Alabama's current offense coordinator. None of those guys I feel would be at Nebraska for the Long Haul which is my number one priority when looking for a football coach sustained long-term success. Out of the four coaches Frost is the only one that fits the mold perfectly. So while we are not having the current success in the win-loss column that we would all like to see. Frost is our best and only true real option. So imo we back Frost and put as much wind in his sail for the next 3 years as we can. And if after his seven years are up and we are not improving then I think you make the change. But as people have mentioned no coach is going to look at Nebraska seriously when they are given such a short leash to raise the Titanic
  15. Limp wristed as in not strong, as in weak. I'm only asking you to defend your statements and elaborate on your post
  16. is this some limp-wristed attempt to troll?
  17. I don't want a racist at Nebraska and I don't want the determining factor to be skin color because of the landscape of today's society, I want the best person for the job.
  18. Ill do it for half of what they paid Moos.
  19. I said the exact same thing, that's the type of frame you want for an offensive lineman
  20. I like the aggressiveness. I think he will be able to harness it in a college game, most of what he was doing was peacocking to the coaches in the stands letting them know he is physical. Its not like he doesn't know or has not heard that, that style of play can get penalties. I mean ohia state wouldn't have wasted a ship on the guy if they thought otherwise. Alfonzo Dennard style, will he get a penalty or two yep, will he break up a pass or get a pick 6 most defiantly, juice is worth the squeeze in this one.
