  1. I think the first phone call or meeting was we like you to come here and be the starter but it all changed once Dylan came back in the picture.
  2. Who does??? Fleming??? I mean where are you going to find a talented wr like him other then the portal and most of the so called good ones started to commit to other places. He wasn't just ranked the fourth best wr coming out of high school for no reason. Nebraska needs to add more talent to that room too many times last year I didn't think the wr's got open much. Since he went the juco rt maybe that offense didn't feature him and he wasn't able to showcase his skills.
  3. I think it would be huge if Damas commit's here. Brings much needed athleticism to the wr room. Just don't know if he has killer speed like Palmer.
  4. I know he feels like he is on the level of DR but he needs time to develop. Good luck to him trying to come in and being a starter from day one. Maybe at Syracuse or Rutgers.
  5. No doubt. Just didn't think his defense would turn out to be so horribly bad here.
  6. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/scott-frost-rumored-offensive-coordinator-target-iowa Scott Frost and Iowa never thought I'd mention them both together???? Iowa is moving on from Brian Ferentz. Husker fans aren't going to take to kindly to him being on their sidelines or will they??
  7. Apparently he does better with less which is shocking bc you would think he should have done better with more.
  8. I know it's 2 hours long so most won't want to sit and watch the whole thing but he hits on every topic.
  9. That's true but that still doesn't take away the fact that he can run. Nebraska was thrown for a loop when Jeff Sims underperformed and had to look at other options to succeed. Clearly HH was thrown into the wolves and wasn't ready. With more development he could be as a running qb in a run based offense. Once you become a one dimensional team your screwed in the Big10 bc defenses are too good for that.
  10. I know that NIL is involved with Raiola but how much do we think we pay him? With him being the number one qb in all. Do you think it's over one million?
  11. I really hope he comes here bc that would bring more explosiveness to the offense. Definitely would help with his playmaking abilities.
  12. Maybe he a reliable qb in Army's offense or a run based offense just not here.
  13. In all honesty I don't think the reason for McCord not coming here was about money in my mind it had everything to do with being the guaranteed starter and Nebraska saying we love for you to compete for the role.
  14. If and when Raiola does commit here should you let him be the starter and learn the ropes or still bring in a transfer qb with experience to let him learn and grow behind him so he doesn't have Husker Nation criticizing his every mistake as a true freshman? Nebraska could still bring in a transfer qb or do think they feel like Purdy is a solid number 2?
  15. Do you think that since MLB doesn't have a salary cap that it is a unfair advantage to smaller market teams? I ask that question bc some would say it's a unfair advantage that the Yankee's and Dodgers can go pay a certain amount of money to a player they feel can help their team. I know we are talking about 2 different sports but same concept with salary caps. Bc HC Matt Rhule said that their are teams that shell out 7-8 million dollars to players and I tend to think that those teams are winning at a high level.
  16. Kansas State its bc of the release of Nae' Qwan Tomlin.
  17. Why?? It's ok to be optimistic for once around here.
  18. If you don't agree with the fact that McCord isn't worth 2 million fine I do. Let's just say he came here and we decided to pay him that much what does he automatically do for the offense. He is a upgrade by far with who Nebraska has had over the years. He comes with a winners mentality something that Nebraska hasn't had for 7 years. He can actually throw the football and doesn't make much mistakes. You can say bc he was from Ohio State that his stats are bc of great players that surround him which is true but it does take the ability and finesse to make the throws that he needs to make. If McCord would have taken us to a bowl game and had success this up coming year that alone would be worth the money. You say he isn't worth 2 million only bc of how much you would have to pay him but it's all the other things that you don't consider or say as to why he isn't worth that much. If Ohio State didn't have stupid expectations like us he still be the starter at Thee Ohio State the prestige program.
  19. I only ask questions to gauge people's interest. Why can't we be friends???
