Scarlet "N" Cream I completely agree.....It takes years for QB's to completely understand the WCO....Beck will be fine...I really dont understand why everyone thinks he's going to end up a bust....I personally can't wait for him to take over the reins of the offense....But damn am I happy that we have Zac, he's quickly becoming one of my favorite Huskers of all time. Whata born leader.

If it's true then it's dissapointing....I had high hopes for Leon, unfortunatly he just couldnt find his place on the team.......I wish him all the best of luck though. He will be a hell of a player somewhere.

I've heard if anything is actually proved the hammer would come down on reggie bush harder than on USC since the house was supposively given to bush's parents by an NFL agent and not by anyone affliated with USC. I've heard that USC could have to forfit all their games that bush played in but i think on PTI they said that would be unlikely and reggie bush would be stripped of all his records at USC and also the HEISMAN......Honestly i'll be surprised if anything comes from this but i agree that bush really did side step some questions today on PTI.

Man i hope Herian is back to his old self by the start of season..... He will complement Zac and the passing game so much if he returns in his old form.... Glad Mueller is stepping up though, good for him!!!!! CAN'T WAIT TILL SEPTEMBER 2ND!!

Exactly DaveH. Like i said before it takes QB's years to understand the WCO and just because he doesnt have it down YET doesnt mean he wont in the future.....it's good to see other people havent given up on Beck yet either...I personally think he'll be a hell of a quarterback when he gets the chance..... But man am I glad we have Zac!!!

I believe Zac will be spectacular this year....... I always thought Zac had it all year but it wasnt till the alamo bowl till i really believed that he could take the team all the way.....I remember the exact play where i knew he was something very special. The touchdown pass he threw the Nunn in the 1st quarter was when i knew he had greatness in him.....he made a beautiful pre snap read, saw the middle linebacker blitzing, stood in the pocket and delivered a strike to terrence over the middle on the slant right before taking SHOT in the chin from the linebacker and terrence streaked down the feild for the TD....that's mental and physical toughness you can't measure....He is a true leader...one we haven't had undercenter since the days of Crouch.

I'd be happy with a 9-3 record as well, but an 8-4 record would leave me wondering what happened.....i mean granted we play a tougher schedule this year arent we all expecting a better season than last? I believe that if we beat USC in their own house that it'd set the stage for the team to blast through the rest of the schedule with the occasional speed bump of Texas or even Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship..... And I dont care what the experts say....Neither USC nor Texas will be as good as they were last year....USC lost their entire backfield and i'm not so sure that john david whats his nuts can revive it all by himself.....and as for Texas.... ask yourself how many starters on either side of the ball you knew besides vince young and how many are coming back for this upcoming season.... this past years texas team was the least known to fans besides the almighty vince young....they will not be that good this year. Go Huskers!!!!!

Alright fellas, spring practice has started and I want to know how everyone thinks the huskers will do this year.....I'm gonna predict an 11-1 or 10-2 season...bold i know but i can just feel it this year......Big 12 north title definetly and a shot at the Big 12 Championship.......as for a BCS game, i would love to see it but with the BCS the way it is i guess we'll have to depend on teams ranked higher to get beat and drop out for us to have a legitimate shot at one.

I dont understand how you couldnt be pumped for this upcoming season....if you watched any of the colorado game or the alamo bowl you could just sense it all starting to come together....coach callahan and co. is doing exactly what they said they were going to do "restore the order".....i cant wait for september 2nd!!!!!!! Hell i cant wait for April 15th.....

I don't think leon will transfer.....i dont think the coaches will allow that....leons gotta understand that there is so much talent and right now he has to wait his turn....his time will come, maybe at tailback, maybe somewhere else....but he is to good for the coaches to let that happen....and if he waits his turn.....he will be a monster at wherever he plays

Skersfan you are so right.....I'm glad that we have the problem of what talent we're going to put into the backfield instead of having no talent to put into the backfield.....Any word on Brandon Jackson though? If he gets healthy i'm sure he can contend for that number 1 spot as well.
