I don't know where this blame should go, but it's telling when the players just quit on you. Whether the blame should go to the guy who they were fed up with, or the current guy, or the admins, or the players themselves. They quit.

The mass exodus of players will cause us all anxiety on paper...in reality, we need 98% of this roster to go away forever and go be bad at football elsewhere. Very bad players with very bad mentalities. When Garret Nelson celebrates accidentally making a play against a mid-level FCS school, we should have known the mental state of these players. I want to support them because that's what fans do, but the collective body language would make me want to never see them again in my lifetime.

I said in a post some days ago that I wish Mickey would just pull a Callahan 2006 and just hog the ball possession without ever gaining yards and bleed the clock. There is no question they are truly an "offensive" line. It offends me.

I think this could possibly end up being one of the worst rosters ever talent-wise and most fans won't realize it until we live through the nightmare. I don't understand the argument of having talent...I see maybe two players with some talent?

I kinda suspected, in addition to poor coaching, this group of players just isn't very good. Or probably nowhere in the ballpark of decent. And I'm not surprised when they earn more money than I've ever made without deserving it. It's going to take quite a bit to change this thing.

Even if not enough to give the job to Mickey, well done if he goes 5-4. Wouldn't be able to ask for more with a straight face. And the team would probably be excited to keep practicing and play an extra game.
