Thank you

We have a really good chance of landing the top 6 prospects in the state. Does anybody know if that’s ever been done before?

Marcus Satterfield Hired as Offensive Coordinator
Scofrosghost replied to Red Five's topic in Husker Football
This. We may not have elite starting WRs right now but between Fleeks, Washington, and Kemp we have a solid core w a lot of experience, (which was lacking like you said) and guys like Coleman that have a very high ceiling and can be considered elite with time, this is a very good position for them to be in to learn from the older dogs. Throw in an accurate passer like Kaelin and the future is bright for Nebraskas passing game. We may actually be able to run the ball effectively then! -
Agreed on the timing, and the content of their posts were almost identical

Long time posters on Husker board being arrogant??? “I’ll believe that when me s#!t turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet” -
Interesting…I thought Nebraska and he had parted ways

** 2023 Opponent Preview : Colorado (Game 2) **
Scofrosghost replied to TGHusker's topic in Husker Football
I could be wrong but I feel like Dion is going to be Colorados Scott Frost. All the hype and buzz in the world, but in the end royally s#!t the bed. -
You are 100 percent correct, and just think he has at least another year to develop a stronger arm ( if that’s actually his weakness…)The more I see of this kid the more I think we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for Nebraska’s offense
-
Some of these writers… lol. “One of the most accurate passers”…. He won the accuracy comp…. Wouldn’t that make him THE most accurate passer?
-
To be honest, I’d rather have a QB that is accurate than one that has a supposed rocket for an arm…interesting to see who didn’t place here..
-
Lots of happy feet in Lincoln in the past few QBs to be sure. Hopefully with another year of HS that is something he works on. Looks promising though
-
I didn’t get that you were saying he was doing bad by any means, just thought I’d share a graphic w you that showed that he did better than what some reports were saying
-
Looks to be doing pretty well so far…
-
Fair enough, but that can be coached up no?
-
I mean….until Nebraska can show we can win this will happen every year. Kind of unfair to condemn the current coach for croots not wanting to play for a program that has been a dumpster fire for over a decade. Now if Rhule can have a winning season and a bowl win and we continue to miss then you may be on to something.

I wouldn’t be too worried. His last official visit scheduled right now is the 23 and it’s with Nebraska. Saving the best for last?

** 2023 Opponent Preview : Minnesota (Game 1) **
Scofrosghost replied to Saunders's topic in Husker Football
Taken w a grain of salt but kinda fun to watch if you’re bored. I will say it did feel like you were watching a husker game fwiw… -
Just because his competition wasn’t the strongest doesn’t mean he isn’t a freak athlete and isn’t worth the bother… Sure you could say that about every player coming out of high school. I just disagree that he isn’t worth it because the poster doesn’t like his mechanics.
-
Did you actually watch his football film? He absolutely smoked secondaries regularly, was wide open and if it was a contested ball the defender didn’t stand a chance. I get it, down play him so if he does go somewhere else it won’t sting as bad, but like someone else said your take probably won’t age well.

** 2023 Previews: Bill Connelly's SP+ Projections **
Scofrosghost replied to Saunders's topic in Husker Football
Everyone relax and have some optimism!! We go 9-3 next year!! Bill Busch said so. He can’t possibly be wrong though. You know how I know?? The Solich curse has officially been lifted!! We will be in the Natty year 2. -
I like how he seemingly has the maturity to see that it’s going to take more than him and that he and his team will need to pull out all the stops to put them in a position to win.
