This is revisionist history. We were dogs in both big 12 title games and lost those at there very end of the games. He upset Missouri in Martinez freshman year.
We just hadn't adapted to big 10 football yet. His defenses were designed to kill the air raid and pass heavy teams. It takes time to rebuild that into a power team. Had eichorst had his back, I believe he could have turned things around.
But let's not pretend Bo was a bad coach. He's the best we've had since solich.
I actually think this might be the only thing to save the streak. I mean I was considering not watching any more games this season but now I'm curious to see if this team starts to actually develop.
I'm sure lots of fans were settling into the idea that we'd lose out and it would be ugly. Of course I had no expectations to start the season.
Why? Why do you fear anything at this point? Every single kid could transfer out and we field a completely new team with a new coach and what....we don't win 1 game? He'll I don't see how we win more than 1 this year.
What's the difference. Blow it all up and we can't do much worse. I'd argue that it may be easier to start with all new players that don't have years of a losing mentality.
I learned we will finish the season with 1 win. One win...one...and it wasn't an easy win against a team that was supposed to be a gimme. This is the worst Nebraska team I've ever seen.
We get a stop, we should be able to run out the clock. They score, we should have time to try to score back. The worst thing we can do is play prevent and let them score slowly.
Why did our defender get so hyped up after making that touchdown saving tackle. The defense you are a part of, just gave up a huge play. You have nothing to celebrate.
Well maybe we'll get the top pick in the draft...
Also if Texas tech is just gonna lose anyway, why did those jerks have to send it to overtime...oh nevermind, they got the first. Screw these two teams. Somebody win already.
