  1. Lol I guess I should calm down before I post but still hugw win none the less I'd like to thing hugw is a neologism that means Huge + Win. In that case it was on puroose I guess I'm a genius Sorry. Great win indeed though
  2. Failing to buy this based on the fact that the traveling players were not in class on friday. Know that for a fact. Has he specified this player as a starter/contributor? They don't take the whole team, you know. . .just a thought, he could definitely be full of something.
  3. To be fair, the missouri fan didn't specify who had the ugly women. He just said, "the women are ugly." I'm inclined to believe he's talking about the ones he has stuffed in the trunk of his 1988 Buick Riviera.
  4. Yeah somebody stated this as fact to me but no source was mentioned so I smelt a little But we'll wait and see.
  5. Let me rephrase that. Considering their record last year and the fact that they are competitive in almost all of their games so far, I am impressed. Their team is still not impressive but ISU fans have gotta like the progress. I don't know, I should hope a team from the Big 12 can remain competitive against Kent State and Army. KSU is a bad football team as evidenced by this evening's events, plus their game against La-Lafayette. I still think this is more a bad sign for KU than good for ISU.
  6. Considering the way ISU has performed this season. . .color me unimpressed.
  7. ISU's defense forces a 4th down. ISU will have a chance to win. Will they get it done? Probably not, but still, color me unimpressed as hell.
  8. I'd be willing to bet he was crying before Nebraska got there. They QUIT after that 4th down failure. That's what separates the men from the boys.
  9. I'm-a say it again. THE GAME WASN'T EVEN OVER YET! 1:23, 3 time outs! All they needed was one more crack on offense. Maybe a defensive stand wasn't likely, but they weren't out of it yet! This picture shows a team that GAVE UP, QUIT, RESIGNED THEMSELVES TO A LOSS. Get off the high horses.
  10. Considering they were only down 1 score with over a minute left. . .you would never see a Nebraska player crying in that position. Just saying.
  11. I'm probably off, but I thought Turner wanted to stay put and stick it out with his committment to Buffalo as well? Maybe not.
  12. They haven't said anything on the radio, I assume that if it were even a remote possibility they would have mentioned it by now.
  13. Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball? Tebow doesn't play baseball.
  14. I think I heard ESPN actually declare Illinois a really, really enormously bad football team on sportscenter last week. If they can see it, anybody should be able to. Just saying. Fire Ron Zook.
  15. I would prefer Peter Frampton, through his little voice tube thingy. Wah wah wah.
  16. It didn't start in this thread, I heard things elsewhere first, not on Unsportsmanlike Conduct either. The UBIQUITOUS, ANONYMOUS SOURCE. It seems to be picking up steam. Unfortunate if true, but proper perspective is in order: it's just a game. I hope the illness isn't too serious for the sake of the guys, not the sake of a game. I'm just saying, it's scary enough to think about, let alone talk about. it's not worth getting worked up if it is unsubstantiated. I believe it is substantiated though, just based on where it's coming from. Even so, it's not even rumored to be widespread, 1 or 2 guys, 3 at most? One of them a reserve tight end? Never mind that a lot of the swine flu "scariness" is media flogging Hell, the WHO (world health organization, not the band The Who) said at one point regular seasonal flu was worse. To quote that Tennesse coach in the 2000 Fiesta Bowl game: "WASH YOUR HANDS!" Or. . .something like that.

  18. That was painful to follow. Defense that bad should be an NCAA violation.
  19. Yeah I recall seeing another price drop not long after I bought it, I was mildly depressed for a few minutes. Still, that's a ton of hard drive space.
  20. You're wrong. If you were here I would kick you in the testicles very, very hard. So hard they would forcefully exit your mouth. Wait, do you want rationale? Because I'm not sure yet. I will say Georgia sucks, Mark Richt never bothered to recruit a QB to step in after Stafford. They'll have issues with consistency.
  21. Huh? I think it's part of our job as fans to also challenge the players and coaches Well, for one thing, I don't think that's necessary with this staff and AD. Do you think players read the board and say, "OH JESUS, some dude with a bunch of numbers in his screen name thinks I suck. Must. Work. HARDER."? I don't go to practice every day to make sure the coaches are doing their job. They don't even know who I am, or who any of us are as individuals. But hey, if you think posting your dissatisfaction with a loss gives them that extra OOMPH, whatevs.
