  1. Maybe it was the one-eyed ref's family members who also only have one eye each
  2. That's bullsh!t. The only reason Major is being talked about is because he's going to Nebraska. If he had decided to go play for the Organ Donors, no one would even know what happened.
  3. I went to the Pitt game. I lost my voice and all the people around me cuz I was going crazy. I don't think I've ever felt Memorial Stadium shake like that.
  4. At least no one got shot...
  5. Once camp starts and the media reports start coming out about how well it is going, I think it will cause some prospects to commit. Especially if the coaches and players are making comments that we are 'headed in a good direction' for 'big things to come.'
  6. Me... I committed yesterday... It just wasn't in the news cuz I didn't want to show off...
  7. I guess this is a credit to Nebraska as well as the rest of the Big XII. Ivan Maisel's 3 point Stance Thursday, July 27 1. Neither Florida nor Alabama wants to move its Sept. 2 night game to the 12:30 p.m. slot for the SEC's regionally televised games. Why? It's kind of hot right around then. But neither the conference nor the network plans on showing a test pattern that afternoon. So which school blinks? 2. Iowa State center Scott Stephenson transferred from Minnesota. Stephenson said Big 12 football is faster than the Big Ten, and the stadiums louder. "At Nebraska, I couldn't hear my guards making calls," he said. "I couldn't hear (quarterback) Bret (Meyer)." Maybe that's a commentary on Gopher fans. 3. We lined up three deep around Adrian Peterson on Wednesday, and the Oklahoma junior is clearly more relaxed around the media than he was as a freshman. Peterson revealed that his goal for this season is 2,200 yards, but he wouldn't declare himself the Heisman favorite. He has figured out that just because the writers ask a stupid question doesn't mean he has to answer it. ESPN

    Floyd Landis

Might have his title stripped. What a jerk! SportsIllustrated ESPN
  9. "I'd say in an average day I only do 15 minutes of actual work." - Peter from Office Space and Me from Ospice Face Space Balls?? Please elaborate....
  10. Oh yah. NOTHING like gameday in Lincoln. I think safety sounds better, unless he beefs up some.
  11. I agree. The long ball will definitely help especially since our receivers are getting better everyday. Not to mention the new, bigger receivers coming in that go up for that jump ball. I think some drag routes or some simple outs could also spread the defense across the width of the field too.
  12. So who all has seen this joker's MySpace?? I wouldn't might giving it a look.
  13. If the line can open up holes for the running game, then the defense won't be able to focus on disrupting the pass. That should give Taylor some more time. From what I've read about Slausburger and what I've seen of Murtha (he's on my Facebook), the tackle play should be MUCH improved. Not to mention the much more experienced and thicker interior with Mann, Austin, and Christensen.
  14. Does anyone ever feel like they're in the movie "Office Space"??
  15. You got it. I should put one on each butt cheek so my Jerkeye-loving friends can kiss my a$$ when they choke again and we win our NC.
  16. That's not a bad idea. I have this fear though, that people might get drunk and brand each other to show their loyalty.... I have a confession.... I'd probably do it....
  17. FOUND ONE!!! Nebraska Branding Iron for steaks
  18. Considering I don't care that much for baseball, unlesss the Huskers are playing, Reynolds was one of the best out there. He really did know his game and actually kept me interested in the game.
  19. So this girl that works with my mom was telling us about these branding irons for steaks. Apparently you can get one with your team's logo on it. Anybody seen this?
  20. Don't quote me on this, but it seems like he might have been making some comment about Black people and athletes being treated unfairly. Not for sure though.
  21. That's exactly right. Those are all things that can be improved upon once (if) he went NU. The only problem might be his willingness for a position change.
  22. True, but with our strength and conditioning program he could lose 2 maybe 3 tenths off his 40. You have to remember though, LBs or FBs are not running 40s on every play. LBs require a lot more quick reaction times and acceleration, not necessarily top speed.
  23. I'm about that same size and WAS at that same speed at one time. I played fullback and defensive end in HS and fullback in college for a year. He seems undersized for fullback or tight end. I think with some Husker Strength training he could be an excellent linebacker considering he likes to hit (also my favorite).
  24. Huskerpedia has tons of links to media coverage of the Big XII Media convention going on. They are getting to be just a little redundant though. Huskerpedia
