Let take this piece by piece: I firmly believe that TO is looking for someone. But, this post was on the 15th and Coach Carr is now retiring. I think Pelini is now the new LSU coach. Miles will go to Michigan. IMO, Pelini is not LSU's number 1 choice to replace Miles.

As Rome said last week, LSU is the better job (given recruiting advantages, etc, etc), but Michigan is the easier job (given you play a bunch of a pretty week bunch of Big 10 teams every year, rather than having to navigate the brutal SEC schedule, thus giving you an easier road to the National Championship game). All of that said, Miles is a Michigan man and that's his dream job. He's even got a "Michigan clause" in his contract. I can't imagine him not taking that job, if it's offered to him. Hope he's ready to pay up the $1.5 mil he would have to pay LSU to leave the contract for Michigan!! That is just amazing imo!

Nick Saban is a great college coach who only took over this year. I was stationed in 'Bama for 8 damn years and I know what Alabama went through to get him there. Not his players, I give him 2 years to be at the top and win a championship. It's easy to recruit in the south and he knows how to do it. He isn't going anywhere any time soon.

And according to the pollsters, Kansas is ranked 12th and they will probably go up after beating A&M. I agree, all the negativity is getting old and hopefully will go away for the most part after T.O. makes coaching changes at the end of the season. I agree, the Huskers played one hell of a game for 3 quarters but in the end, better coaching won out. And Texas having Jamaal Charles score 3 TDs and run for 290 yards in the 4th didn't help any either. I'm a life long Nebraska fan but like everyone else, this isn't the same Huskers we grew up with.
