I would guess that one of the reasons Beck (4th on the depth chart) and Freeman (you will redshirt) are not here is that they were not put on pedestals. Good, humerous post! Sinse I'm not at the practices, I can't say for sure. From what the coach said, it will utilize his speed and his ability to get out of the pocket, to be a playmaker.

Its a better version, one that is easier for college kids to grasp and one that will better utilize JD's abilities as opposed to the one that NU runs in which they did not modify it to utilize JD's abilities.

I think that Lucky will get the nod. The coaches need to utilize some of the talent from the much hyped recruiting class of a couple of years ago, especially with the loss of Beck, Jackson, Pastuer, etc.

Not that pete carroll was a great nfl coach, but I wouldn't say that bc was "far better and accomplished." One super bowl, yes, but he only had 2 years before he was fired. His 4 year record as a head coach is so-so. He still has much to prove.
