He has stated all along that he is waiting for the Aggies to offer. Damn, I want this guy as a DT I realize he wants an Aggies offer and is a fan of the Aggies. IMO he is a better football player at NU under Bo and crew. A kid this big and fast will be utilized by Bo big time.

Ugh...I hate it when these guys decommit so late in the process. Hopefully makes room for P.J. Smith and Charles Mitchell.

I like this strategy. I could never understand why we didn't run more formations with Lucky in with another one of the backs. Great to have Lucky back for his senior year...he is going to be key for us.

Lots of good answers in here. Don't believe anyone said Armando Murillo at CB. He is going to be our top CB and needs to play huge for us!

Not surprised here. My guess is both Okafor and James knew last weekend where they were going to commit to. I wanted Okafor more. James likely wanted to play in the spread at Oregon fitting his style. We have Mendoza who seems similar to me as James. I like Okafor to be a strong RB by his Jr and Sr years here. Okafor is a key recruit in this class.

Can't figure this one out. Was big on Okie State and had planned to visit Miami this weekend. This recruiting stuff is nuts.

MODS, there are a couple threads that need to be merged on this kid floating around in this forum. And he should be moved to the official 2008 recruiting forum. He liked his visit here. Latest is that his top 4 are us, Minnesota, Illinois, and Arizona. He is still planning to see Kansas State this weekend. Likely will then announce next week.

Scout reporting he will announce this Friday between OU, Okie State, and Texas Tech. I don't see any JUCO LB's on our radar...I hope Compton recognizes this would be good for him to be N!

Looks like it will be between Miami and Oklahoma State. Appears he will not take visit to us or Michigan. He visited Florida but Gators appear out as well. Looks like we need to move on to someone else. Good luck to him.

I like Bo taking this kid to the next level. If this kid bases his decision on maxing out his football potential, we have A&M beat.

I like Keelan as a playmaker/gamebreaker. I hope he stays N. ASU doesn't have the exposure we have. The new staff is going to get this guy playing time if he has the wheels and shows the desire.

Latest news is that Harper has committed now to Texas A&M. I assume a Buddy Wyatt and connection with former staff.

When Pelini was at LSU they stopped recruiting me because my test score was down but I did raise it up.” “I like coach Pelini, him and Eckeler will visit me next week before I visit Nebraska January 25. Ohio State wanted him at CB, but I think he wanted to play WR. I had heard the same thing about Ohio State wanting him at CB but he liked WR...that is why I was surprised he was looking at CB here at NU...I still would like us to recruit him. If he is not tied to Rich Rod, then why not? Bo has ties to OH recruiting and D.J. would be good addition from OH.

News is this kid has de-committed from Wisconsin and committed to Mizzou. He is an in state recruit for Mizzou. This is definitely a case of Mizzou having a good year and Wisconsin not doing as well as projected this year. This guy was trying to recruit players to Wisconsin after he committed...now he is the enemy. Seems like there has been more of this than any year I can remember.
