I will still miss NU. I don't care much what the Texas schools do. I would trade the whole state of Texas to keep my old Big 8 together, or at least the 5 in the Kansas City Radius that has been together for so long. Okie State has no choice in this, and frankly OU doesn't either. Their hand is really forced. CU has always been an odd fit. Liked going to Boulder, but it is a long trip to there for this or most conferences, so they will likely never be truly home anywhere... But I guess I will miss them too. I will miss the Jayhawks too IF this all comes to fruition... KU fans have class as opposed to .... well, some of those other places... (

I would caution against becoming too cocky about going to the Big 10 BEFORE NU even has an invite!! I would hate to see this board start looking like the MU Tiger board.... That site is a disgrace to common sense, a lot of idiots there acting like giddy 3rd graders making complete asses of themselves. Thanks, I guess they forgave him, he ended up starting his last two years, kinda made up for that one by blocking a punt against Kansas. A reporter sent my folks a copy of the picture of that, it was a pretty cool pic.

Not sure it was '72, either that or '73, my late brother was in at right corner at the end and had a pass interference penalty on the play before the score and then his guy made the score on the next play as I recall.. We never stopped giving him hell about that but, in all honesty it was a heck of a catch and nobody could have stopped it.

You folks do what you want to. I'll be watching the game and rooting for Texas!! I see no reason to support ANY team who's playing against a Big 12 team.. PERIOD. Yes, that DOES include Colorado. It does our program no good what ever when another conference team gets beat by another conference.

Those of us that understand football agree. WE JUST LOST TO IOWA ST. And that should not have happened, PERIOD!!! I do know football farelly well and many teams have started a freshman before and have done fine. (Tommie Frazier anyone?) I am not saying Green may be the next Tommie, but to think we could be worse on offense. A Frazier led NU team also lost to ISU when they never should have. Nice point. Dude, you are arguing just to argue!!! A Tommie Frazier led team also gave a spark to VERY bad offense under Mike (I have tape on my facemask) Grant. A Tommie (freshman) Frazier led offense also beat a highly ranked Colorado team, a game I was at, (tied with us for eight in the polls) and a decent and ranked Kansas team. As a matter of fact, they had three very solid victories before the loss to Iowa St. One could say because of those wins, they took the Cyclones for granted. Then beat Oklahoma and won the Big Eight title and then lossed to a very good Florida St. team in the Orange Bowl( 27-14 I believe). So you point falls very flat when you look at the whole picture. This offense can't get any worse and yes it is not all of Lee's fault, but as we saw in the 92 season, it is amazing what a change in ONE (good leadership) player can do. HOW MANY FUMBLES INSIDE THE 5 YD. LINE DID THEY HAVE IN THOSE GAMES??!?!?!?!

Doesnt matter if he spoke yesterday, my mom has it and was fine on friday afternoon and by saturday afternoon she was totally smoked. I highly doubt she was fine if she has the H1N1 virus as the onset can take up to 3 days for full on infections. She might have the regular flu, but it wouldn't just pop up over night being H1N1. Both season flu and H1N1 can come on gradually or like a freight train. Last time I had flu - about 10 years ago - I went to bed with a scratchy throat and woke up feeling like a fell out of an airplane. For what it's worth, I hope all the players are healthy and ready to go on Thursday. You guys too. How exactly does it feel to fall out of an airplane???!!!! OH, it ain't so bad.
