i don't think Maisel is a hater. his wife is an alumnus of UNL. i'm not saying that that guarantees a liking of the program, but he's obviously gonna understand more than most. he'll know the tradition and character of Nebraska football. unlike some people (Chris Fowler, sCUm alum)

I don't know where you get off saying that having Pelini will make us stay mediocre. I think that you are so traumatized by the current/soon to be former administration, that you just can't trust anybody to take over the reins, unless it's Tom Osborne himself. Pelini has probably been one of the best assistants out there since his stint here in '03. Mike Stoops got a job. Gene Chizik got a job. Those guys started at horrid schools. If you give Bo the talent we have vs. the talent Stoops and Chizik got, even what Mangino has, you can be assured of at least 8-10 wins.

i don't think it's up to Osborne anymore, quite frankly, because I think he's made the decision to let him go. all this bulljazz, waiting on him to actual finalize the decision has to do with money, players, replacements, and God. he's too integritous, to steal a word from Stephen Colbert. it's just a stupid passive-aggressive waiting game. does callahan deserve this? since he is still a human, i don't think he deserves that kind of treatment. but, it's hard not to give it because he won't leave.

well, i think you should first look at mel kipers listings and scouts, inc. for info on his draft status. darren mcfadden, steve slaton, mike hart, ian johnson could/will all come out this year. he's late second day, in my opinion.
