With so many little rivalry trophies going on in the Big 10, like Paul Bunyan's Axe, Oaken bucket, Sioux tomahawk, we should have one between the two NU's, whoever wins it gets the NU moniker until they meet again. Loser gets UN or lower case nu (that we we will likely keep the NU for a long long time)

Do I need to call child services on you!!!! Ooops, I let that slip... I'll add though, she was born there and so was her mama, but with a little therapy, I'll get over it. The good news is she'll be a BIG TENer at the very least.

This may be already decided, but who gets the "NU" designation when Nebraska and Northwestern play each other? I figure that it could be UNL and NWU respectively, and they play for the rights to get a nu trophy of some kind. My interest in this is that my daughter just enrolled at Northwestern so I'll definitely be seeing them play each other if I can. She's Texas raised, not a Husker fan, so there will be a little in-family rivalry!

If we come out of it next year with similar results, keep a top 10 defense in all categories, AND beat Texas... I'll be happy.

That must be in reference to the fart joke comment The Texas reference was pretty funny, how Sheldon had to be subjected to football despite his objections.

I had the opportunity to watch this episode, It was refreshing to see the Nebraska logo on a somewhat popular national program. The actors they got to be NU fans were rude slugs. I guess it was intended to emphasize the difference between macho football fans and academic nerds. One of the other characters, Sheldon, was from Texas and was apparently subjected to football despite having no interest in it. He was tasked to teach the basics to Leonard, the boyfriend of the HOT Penny, so he could fit in with her friends. I guess it was current because they stated they won their last game and the following game was against Oklahoma.
