You could almost consider him more of a "Frippin Quitter" if he stayed. Backup QBs hardly ever see any action..especially at Nebraska the last decade. What? you want him to give up on his dreams and probably the dreams of most of his family just so he can be an insurance policy for your entertainment? It's not like we're majically going back to an offense that would favor his strengths like we were when he signed. Give the kid (or his Dad) some credit for not quitting on his dream just yet. I have a feeling, the best QB (NFL future wise) next year will be Jevan Sneed.. Do you think he would have seen more than a few dozen snaps if he stayed at Texass behind Colt McCoy?

I felt a little insulted getting the WCO so far "After the Fact" What's next? Disco and Bellbottoms? That is until seeing it's endless possibilities. Still. My favorite offense to watch now days is Florida's spread with the QB running the option..But #15's (Teebo and Frazier) don't grow on trees. The 10 yard "Dink and Dunk" is too much of a preek-teaser..I want to see more 35 yard passes and some power fullback traps thrown in..Maybe an occaisional option to the trailing back thrown in to scare the rest of the nation..And the return of the BLACKSHIRTS!!!

I'm sorry, BRI, but I just don't see any reason why Cally would replace Coz..There's just not a good enough reason for him to do that to his friend...Especially after his contract extension. If Ped puts any pressure on him or fires him, he gets paid anyway for a couple seasons and can always go be an assistant in the NFL if he feels the need to keep busy. Occasionally, He has shown tendencies that he wants to win, but I still don't think it's a priority..It's probably more fun for him to be tinkerin' with his offense and maybe make a name for himself that way. I mean..Sure, he'd Like to win..It's just not a priority. I can see your point and I guess I should have put in there at the end of the season because it wouldn't be a good idea to get rid of him now. First, Coz ain't going anywhere anytime soon--at least during the next couple of months of this season. But if I had to hazard a wild-assed guess at a candidate for DC, I might throw out a name like Rob Ryan. He's an FOB, both college and pro experience, and has a new HC, jr Kiffin, who might just be looking for his own guy someday soon. (btw, Rob Ryan is Buddy's kid). Rob would git 'er done too! Buddy Ryan, "You've got a winner in town". Worst coach the AZ Cardinals ever had..And THAT's saying something.

I think Lucky has improved tremendously over last year. Still not the toughest looking runner after contact, but with slightly better blocking..He'll at least get the yards...And it's not like we're in the "I" where the RB gets a few more yards momentum. For some reason, I'm reminded of watching L.Phillips when he played for the Rams..You kept waiting for him to rip off a long one, but the blocking never materialized.
