I seriously think the fans of both clubs are almost wishing for a loss in this game!! I believe it will be a close game, huskers might pull it together and actually get the win, but it really could go either way. It all depends on how the defense for the huskers do, if its the USC/MIZZO defense we might be in trouble. I think the offense will FINALLY have a good game!!

Damn...if I play this I would be wasted by the end of the first quarter and passed out by half time! lol Sounds like fun!

The option will not come back for awhile...simply cause kids that want to play in the pros will not come to a school that runs the option...simple recruiting will not keep it alive. I'm not sure there is an option here...we are stuck with this for 5 years...but changes need to be changed at some level though!

I have said it since he started on that show...WHY? He wouldn't have a clue if he was watching a football game or a train heading straight at him!!

If you want a simple answer to why the option offense is "dead"....cause kids that want to someday play in the NFL will never get there with a college that runs the option. Ex: Tommy Frazier/Eric Crouch...best option qb's of all time...ZERO NFL play time, sure some of the "skill" players will get into the NFL but in this day and age when its ALL about the kids and giving them a chance to get to the NFL with recruiting them into a system, Pro-style/WCO is the only way to go. Yes we used to do the option effectively this with walk ons and everyone else, but the times have changed, with scholarships limits and increase in academic requirements I do not think this system would work anymore. JMO

It was just after Cal was hired, took him "away" from Wisconsin right before signing day but just after the bowl games. Listen recruiting or not, he is horrible as a DC. If Cal can't get them to the team but somehow Coz can? We have way larger issues on this team then what we can see!! He cant scheme correctly for the problems we have, which is 2 things, one the "talent" on the D is not as good as everyone says they are, two - he cant make adjustments to save his life. In the USC game, the ran up the middle on us, just like in that lovely Colorado game in 01, so put 5 down linemen in to adjust for it!!! He just seems to stick to what he planned way too much, like these kids are pros, and that he doesnt pay attention to the adjustments needed to match the game that they are in!

the defense will get the rejects that aren't athletic enough to play offense. Great...so guys that cant tackle like we have now? Lovely...

Bad would be 1-5, Sad is 4-2 with 2 blow out games

And what scares me the most...I was looking at the recruiting lists of who is coming in...and barely saw one defensive player.

Alright I give you an example...WISCONSIN!! These guys actually threw parties when we took Coz away from them..doesnt seem like getting rid of him has hurt them one bit.

I think we need a change...ANY change to fire these kids up and make them play up to their "potential". We have 2 lead coaches that are these type of..."well Im proud of how are kids played and they fought tonight" attitude that is so laid back it makes me sick! We need someone with some fire in them to make theses kids believe in themselves and the system.

How sad is this...I'm in the NE and have only seen them 4 times in the last 2 years on TV and I cant even watch this anymore. You know cal will say...well they are a real good team and im proud of our kids for playing tough..blah..blah..blah...Im sick of this all is well crap from him when he knows things on the D are very bad!

Well Ebyl...you dont want him gone...what is your suggestion to fix this absolutely embarrassment of a so called defense?
