  1. It's been my pleasure guys!! The answer to our warr eagle was posted just before I posted this reply. I'll check in from time to time and talk football with you. Thanks again WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!
  2. Did you notice what we Auburn fans have been telling you? You run straight at us we can't stop you. You guys ran the ball well straight at us. It's when you tried to get fancy did our speed catch up to you. If you would have kepted pounding away straight at us, you'd blown us out. I just feel fortunate our defense showed up to keep us in the game. Our offense stunk and credit that to your defense as well. Keep your heads up Nebraska. You're a classy program and take this loss and build from it. I just pray we find some offense next year or it's going to be a long season for us next season. Go Huskers!!! WARRRRR EAGLE!!!!!
  3. I would say great game. However I think both teams fans were a little upset at our offensive performances. That has been pretty much our offense all season. Watching our teams today made me think we were a lot alike. I felt like that before the game was played to. I just thank God we didn't play better quality teams or we'd been blown out and embarassed. Our defenses were the only ones who showed up to play today. I'm still glad we got to play you guys and enjoy the Cotton Bowl together. We just got lucky and I mean lucky to win this one. Best of luck in the offseason and next year. Just know this Auburn fan will be pulling for you to win the Big 12 next year. I wouldn't complain if we got to play each other next season. Hopefully in the national title game. Happy New Year and thanks for being so hospitable in this forum. I have had a blast. Gooo Huskers!!! WARRRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!
  4. I'm amazed how great the Big 12 conference has become. In the past it seemed the winner of the OU vs Texas game would win the conference. Now with the Huskers coming back, Missouri, Texas A&M improving and Texas Tech which can sneak up on anyone with their offense. Your conference has become the real deal. I still stand by my word, the survivors of the Big 12 and SEC by seasons end has won many tough battles to win their conference championships. These are the two toughest conferences to play in week in and week out. The fact we play you guys in the Cotton Bowl and the great sportsmanship you've shown, I'll personally be pulling for the Huskers to win the Big 12 next season. I look forward to seeing the sea of red in the Cotton Bowl. WARRRRRRR EAGLE!!!!

    ESPN Sux

As far as Ohio St vs Florida? Ohio St hasn't seen a team full of speed on both sides of the ball. Remember Florida plays ugly and wins. They put together a solid game, I'm not sure Ohio St could stay on the field with them. But you can bet Florida is going after Troy Smith with all they got. Florida's team speed can hang with Ohio St. Remember, Ohio St almost lost to Indiana. I am sure Florida has watched that film many times. Now to ESPN. lol Your message boards looks like ours when it comes to ESPN talk. It might be partly our fault Nebraska is not getting much air time on ESPN because our relationship with ESPN is not very good. LOL Tommy Tuberville has guts and has practically told ESPN where to stick it before. He only cares about Auburn winning and not what ESPN thinks. MIchigan and USC have always been the media darlings. Look at where they are ranked every season when it starts. I don't feel sorry for MIchigan. They did indeed get a shot at Ohio St and lost. Ohio St is the better team and why would we want Michigan to have a second chance? A lot of teams won't get that shot and have a reason to complain. MIchigan doesn't. Our revenge Husker and Auburn fans is to have a great bowl game and beat the holy crap out of our conference opponents next season and stay unbeaten. Imagine the headline. Auburn faces Nebraska for a rematch and this time for the national title. LOL I know it will be tough for that to happen. But possible. Just laugh at the ESPN goofs like we do. WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!!!
  6. I do like OSU's QB. He's a gamer. OSU was the better team and almost gave that game away. Got to give Bama credit for not folding and hanging in there. They almost pulled that one out. 3 more days for our game? Best of luck and I hope no one gets injured in the game. WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!
  7. Not looking good on the Auburn end either. It's still going to be a great game though.
  8. Here we go. Well my Husker friends as hard as it is for me to root for Bama, I am going to root for them in this game tomorrow. However I think Oklahoma St will win this one. As far as teams representing the SEC in bowl games. Not many of us have high hopes for the Low Tide Low. It will be fun to keep score with the Big 12 teams and SEC this bowl season. What are your opinions on this game?
  9. lmao!!!! I've been removing xmas lights from my home and been debating shoveling the snow off my backyard so can mow it to pass time. lol I can see my neighbors thinking has this guy lost it? I'll wear my college football withdrawals sweatshirt while mowing. lol Better bowl games begin now leading up to our game with some Big 12 and SEC teams in action starting tomorrow. Best of luck to both conferences in their bowl games. WARRRRR EAGLE!!!!
  10. Lol!! Heyyy quit stealing our kickers. lol Is this the same kind of rumor as Alabama claiming they are going to get Nick Saban as a coach? rofllll!!! Maybe this insider source is the same person who started that rumor. lol What's next? Bill Parcells accepts job as a kicking coach at Auburn next season? rofl I'd be interested to know the kicker's name as well. Probably a backup to a kicker on an SEC team that sees sitting the bench behind another kicker. Heck I'd transfer to. Nebraska is no let down as far as transfering to that school. SEC ad Big 12 are exciting conferences to watch football.
  11. You'd think with all that money out in Los Angeles, the Coliseum would be one of those must see Wonders of the World. It probably still is. LOL I guess they spend that money on paying USC's players rent and cars. LOL (SARCASM). I've watched many great games held at the Cotton Bowl back in the day when national titles had been won in that stadium. Remember the wishbone? That was a fun offense to watch. You needed a smart QB to make the right decisions on who got the ball by reading the defense on the go. You could even pass out of that formation. So many options could come from one play. I sometimes miss that. Could the condition of that stadium be one of the reasons it doesn't host a BCS bowl? 5 more days!!! Wooooo-hoooo!!!! WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!
  12. Hookem you are right. Points have been hard to come by for us this season. Keep in mind though the SEC prides itself on defense. Thats why I think it's great to play out of conference teams in bowl games. I don't see us scoring more than 17-24 pts in this one unless Nebraska flat lays an egg. I think it will be close as well. As far as John Madden. He actually got laid? WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!!
  13. Hats off to the Aggies support of your team. I've seen some post stating how can you root for another team? It's easy. In the bowls you root for your conference to play well. It adds respectabilty going into the next season. For example, West Virginia got all this hype this season prior to losing because they defeated an SEC team Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. Everytime someone said West Virginia had not beaten anyone this year, they always referred back to the Sugar Bowl win. There's nothing wrong with fans in the Big 12 conference rooting for each other in the bowls. Not only are you a fan of your team, your a fan of the conference your team plays in. We all have something in common. We are fans of college football. I am just so freaking sad that the college football season is coming to an end. Win or lose, lets all go out with a bang being the best fans we possibly can be for our teams and conferences. 7 more days!!!!! WARRRRRR EAGLEEEE!!!!!
  14. Merry Christmas Huskers!!!!! For those traveling, travel safe, eat safe and watch football safely. I look forward to our game in 8 days. Wooo-hoooo!!!! Win or lose, it's been a privaledge spending time here with you Huskers. WARRRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!!!
  15. Folks I don't know about you, but I am having withdrawals. Other than the BYU vs Oregon game, the rest of these bowl games have done nothing for me. Hopefully next week will be better as the games build up to ours and the championship games. I can't wait. I've enjoyed reading this forum and looking forward to the game and our comments after the game in here. Happy Holidays everyone!!!!! WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!!
  16. Also Aggie fans, don't forget to yell WARRRRRRR EAGLE!!!! HEY!!!! Thats when we will be kicking off to Nebraska a lot. LOL . You'll hear Warrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, then when the ball is kicked we say EAGLE!! HEY!! Best of luck guys!!! It's going to be fun. WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!
  17. LOL Hookem!!!! NO kidding. We were the Bama aggies for many years in Alabama. It's great to finally turn that around and dominate the state here in the Southeast. I appreciate your loyalty to the Big 12 as I am to the SEC teams in their bowl games. I do think we have something in common though. We hate the Big 10 or Big 2 conference. I think they re overated. Wisconsin only played one ranked team all season. It was Michigan. They got beat. Michigan and Ohio St did not play many ranked opponents either. It's hard to say how good they really are. Having lived in Texas for many years, this Auburn fan has been to many great games in Lubbock, College Station and Austin and will pull for the Big 12 in their games except of course when they play the SEC. I'm excited we get to play Nebraska as they work themselves back into respectabilty. As in the SEC, the Big 12 conference is strong and we get to enjoy many in conference battles during the season. I have always felt the best teams come from the Big 12 and SEC. The Pac 2 and the Big 2 is pretty much a boring conference to watch except when Michigan and Ohio St face off. Then you have the Big Easy and the Awful College Conference that was boring to watch. Notre Dame should be put in a conference to make them earn their BCS. Beating all the service academies should not allow them into the BCS. Way better 2 loss teams got the snub because of that. One final note. I do respect the Big 12 conference due to the fact of the respect the conference showed me in their stadiums when I proudly wore my Orange and Blue . The only place I got a bad taste was in College Station. I toured the campus with my friends who were from UT and Tech and every corner I turned I was yelled at and called names. I know tradition is rich in College Station. But a lot of those kids were so freaking immature. During the game those people would start whooping in the stands. I thought I was on a Turkey hunt in Alabama. It sounded like 70,000 people calling turkeys. Heck I even got hungry for Turkey hearing all the gobbling. Then they would bend over like it was going to be a 70,000 people orgy in the stands. I was like OMG. And then the Aggies when they scored, got to kiss their gf's. Now thats not a bad one. If an Aggie fan reads this don't think I hate Aggie fans. I don't. The tradition their was an experience I'll never forget. I even attended yell practice at midnight wearing my Auburn attire. Truly amazing. 6th St in Austin is a must see after a game. Best of luck to the Big 12 and SEC during the Bowl Season and may the best Big 12 and SEC teams play for the national title next year. Happy Holidays!!! WARRRR EAGLE!!!!!!!!!
  18. I'm going to have to agree as well. The team with the most points just might come out the winner. No smarter fans than Nebraksa and Auburn fans. lol WARRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!
  19. For the Michigan fans out there that feel they were screwed? Hell you got your shot at Ohio St and lossed! What more do you want? All you had to do was win. Now hush it and enjoy your nice bowl game against USC. Thank God we we play Nebraska instead of Michigan. WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!!!!
  20. Yes we do overpursue at times and we do lack in the tackling dept as well. If you're big O line can get a push on our defense, it's going to be a tough game for us. I would just stick to the basics of running the ball to our weakest point on D. Don't try to get all fancy because our speed can recover quickly. Run the ball right at us and then try some misdirection to see if you can get us to overpursue. Occasionally throw the deep ball to keep our DB's and safeties back away from the line of scrimmage. Lacking the basic fundamentals hurt us this year. I'm sure Callahan and your Husker players see the same exact things we talk about here on film. I wouldn't be surprised if Nebraska kepted a simple game plan and just pound away at our defensive front. Now as far as your defense. The question will be physical conditioning. Our offense has done a great job of winning the time of possession game in most games except Georgia. South Carolina did not get one play on offense in the 3rd quarter against us. We are not a quick strike team. We sustain long drives. The key will be to keep our offense on the sideline so we can't grind the game out.
  21. I love this talk about the lineman. I think the line of scrimmage is key to this game. You guys are right on. It's rare you talk about a game and the line of scrimmage is the center of the topic. We are so used to hearing about QB's this and RB's that ect. You guys are smart football fans. My hats off to you Huskers. I agree the biggest battle of this game to watch will be in the trenches. How will our speed matchup to your size. It's going to be fun to watch. If we are firing on all cylinders like MrAubie stated, we'll be hard to beat. However if we don't play a complete game, it will be a long day for us and a great one for you. I am still very excited about this matchup. I think you are a better team than your record shows. Just FYI if I did my math right, our defense averaged pts allowed was 14 pts per game in 12 games.
  22. Lmao!!!!! Hell I can't read it. lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. That Husker code too complicated for this Auburn boy. rofl
  23. Hey Huskers!! You are still playing a very good Auburn team without those three players. If you guys beat us, you still beat a very good team. Kenny Irons and Brandon Cox are full speed now. Lester backs up Irons. However we have some other backs just as talented. Ben Tate our highly touted freshman is no slouch. You'll face our best offense for sure. Defensively sure we hate losing Sears and Blackmon. But I don't see our defense being much worse than what we had to deal with this year. I'm sure our coaches will make the adjustments to ensure we play tough against your offense. I don't think there is much let down losing those players. If anything, it should motivate our players more to play even better. Especially guys who are trying to prove themselves. It will still be a very competitve game and will be fun. Just thought you should here that from an Auburn guy. And as an Auburn fan, I support Tommy Tuberville 110% on dismissing those players. I want to win with class, not with bums. WARRRRRRR EAGLE!!!!
  24. BigRedIowan you are absolutely right. Our defensive line is not that big. If I were Nebraska, I'd fight this game out in the trenches. I think it's your best shot. WARRR EAGLE!!!!!
