  1. That's hilarious! I hope it's not made in communist China and contains lead. But seriously, I honestly don't think Cali is running our team into the ground on purpose, he just doesn't have a clue and any idea of how to save it.
  2. I don't think he's worried about his resume or chance of being a head coach again. The guy could retire tomorrow if he wanted to...from a financial standpoint.
  3. Stanford's D looked surprisingly physical. Heck, even Mizzou's D did, they were bringing the wood We're lucky to see a couple hard hits a game from our D.
  4. How bout the dude from Ball State?
  5. I'm not defending him, but the Raiders still sucked after he was gone, although they may be showing some signs of life with Kiffin. Either way, we can try to make comparisons about his previous job and how it ended to our current situation, but bottom line is he needs to pack his bags. When no-name coaches can get lesser programs to win in the first or 2nd year, you know something's wrong.
  6. This reminds me of Back to the Future where Biff steals the sports almanac, gets rich, and lives in a parallel dark future. This is what it feels like being a Husker fan. Cali getting the contract extension before the USC game grows more suspicious by the day.
  7. Man, you'd think all the money we've lost by not making decent bowl games each year would be enough to can Pederson?
  8. Yeah, I was also wondering about the rush 3 thingy. After their first two scores, I figured they'd put more people up there, but it didn't happen. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see that many blitzes. Daniel got cockier as the game went along knowing that we couldn't pressure him. All the while our O-line can't pass block for nothing.
  9. Definition of Parity-Being outcoached/outplayed by an opponent with inferior talent. I don't believe in parity. If you look at the major upsets this year, they happened mostly because of bad coaching/mistakes on the part of the favored team. OU/CU-OU muffs a punt return. Stanford/USC-USC plays sloppy giving up 5 turnovers. Mich/App St.-Mich has a chance to win, but can't block the D-line on a field goal try. If you can't be at least competitive with 85 friggin' scholarships, then you need to be coaching intramurals....
  10. Any high school coach in Nebraska.
  11. It's not working. Experiment over.
  12. Shreveport??? Try the la-z-boy in front of the plasma watching the rest of the north division.
  13. Unfortunately this is what it will take to enact change.
  14. is that Cali will continue to pull in good recruits so when he's fired, the new coach will be able to win the first year.
  15. I wish he would have resigned than being re-signed.
  16. You know it's bad when Stanford can upset USC in it's first year with a new coach while we are getting killed in year 4.
  17. Looks like last season was the best we could get under this regime. We've already peaked and are plunging into the abyss fast.
  18. We'll be lucky to make .500 with this team.
  19. Cali doesn't want to show too much to Ok. St.
  20. It's like saying USC doesn't need a decent kicker because they're so good offensively. Elmo the Armo :asshat
  21. And North Carolina is dominating Miami so far. Doesn't seem to mean much this year in college football.
  22. Do you have picture-n-picture?
  23. If the defense shows up, I say we win. People are upset about this season because there seemed to be a lot of pre-season hype about what this team could do, then when the defense and running game struggled, we found out that we weren't that good. This combined with the fact that other North opponents seem to be making progress quicker than us. I know a lot of fans didn't expect us to be in year 4 of the new regime and still struggling to even win our own division, let alone a B12 championship and BCS bowl game.
