Is Missouri that good or is this all just hype?

I'm starting to think that coaching is a problem as well. Why can 2nd year coaches like Hawkins & Prince get big wins when we always seem to fold when we have our chance against a top 10 team. There's no way that KU, KSU, CU, and Mizzou can win the recruiting battle with us, but they still keep hanging around with substandard talent. Unfortunately, I think we're going to have to accept this for the next 4 years, hopefully less if the NFL comes calling.

I'm just curious as to how good their offense really is. The announcers at the Ok. St./Troy game were talking about how hyped Ok. St. was on offense because they couldn't do much all game. I wonder if Missouri is the same way. I don't think it will be as high-scoring as some people think. I think the blackshirts will step up for this one and throw them out of rhythm. If we can stay consistent in the passing game and rack up some rushing yardage, I say we come away from this one with a win. Their home field advantage will only go so far.

Texas would lose to anyone giving up that many returns and turnovers. Plus, they were asking to be upset with the way they've been playing this year. CU was a fluke. If OU hadn't muffed the punt, the game would have been over. When they played Fla. St., they had no offense whatsoever. Now everyone's calling Hawkins a genius. This win will be short-lived.

I agree, the rest of our season is iffy. Our defense is already banged up after one conference game.

Why can't we ever get a win like that?

Most fans just look at the quality of wins when judging the program. I like the more balanced offense since it helps our recruiting. Fall behind with a Solich team and you're screwed. Now, at least we have a fighting chance to come back and win.

I thought this was a bs article when I saw the heading. Wow, wish someone we knew would do the same, the honorable thing.

I hate to say it, but we'll be lucky to hit .500 this season if things don't improve fast. If things continue to spiral, then last year will have been the most successful under BC.

Shallow as it may be, I always though his named sounded weird. The name would definitely fit in better at Ball St. Fans would be called Nutt & Ball supporters.

CU's problem is our opposite. They have no offense. I doubt we lose that one. Unfortunately, that's the only remaining game I feel good about right now.
