    Not that any of the rumors about Tressel being in Lincoln are confirmed (or if he is, for what purpose), but would the agent admit it even if he was contacted?

    Now this is #backpeddlin Given how taken aback almost everyone was by the firing, I would be shocked if the name got slipped. Eichorst appears to have a very firm hold on the situation and the people involved.

    Talk about a holly jolly Christmas. More speculation: I wonder how much Frost would modify his system if he's given total control. Would it look like Oregon does now, or something more like Nebraska used to?

    I think kill is an answer, but not the first one I would go for. It's mostly a bi-product of: 1. Kill's teams have out-muscled us two years in a row. 2. He seems to have a dedicated running system that could be truly dynamic with our access to talent. Doubt it's him.

    Not to press, but if you had to guess between the two, which one is more likely? Also, is Frost's name a serious option at OC?

    Damn. You seem pretty butt hurt. You might want to find a new team to root for. Ohh.... Taunting is neat. It doesn't matter who was right or wrong. Let's worry about the future.

    If there is that level of angst––and I would be shocked if 100% of the players would buy into that kind of craziness––it will certainly blow over when the new coach is announced and those players realize that everyone is now auditioning for positions again. We gotta stay united. No room for this "us and them" crap anymore. Pelini is no longer our coach but we are still Nebraska.

    Sounds like a whole lot of not my problem. Edit: Although it's nice to see there's not as much of that "expectations too high" crap being thrown around.

    Avoid drawing any conclusions. There is so much left of this situation yet to play out. The players will feel what they feel, then they'll start to think. Will all of them stay? Difficult to predict. But let's not overvalue heat of the moment talk.

    Nobody has made up their minds about anything. Except Eichorst. Nebraska fans love the players. We always will. And you guys will find out, probably very soon, that your futures are still extremely bright. Stick together.

    Same guy that said Bo wasn't getting fired... Yea I was wrong. Was hoping Pelini would be here still for his players. It is what it is. Hope the next coach is a great one. I'm glad to hear you say that and I hope the people who wanted Bo to get another shot feel the same. Husker fans need to get back together and embrace the opening of a new chapter.

    TA and Josh Mitchell not happy. I understand, but guys, you have to see the bigger picture. Part of it is realizing when you are too close to the situation.
