  1. Ok, someone please help, how do you attach a video again?
  2. Ok, USC - Nebraska is this Saturday, I'm already pacing a groove through the carpet and can't sit still, if you're FIRED UP and love the Huskers, let's get those videos going. GO BIG RED!! QBE9QuMUT0
  3. Why not take the penalty and try to do something before the half? Wake Forest could have thrown a bomb before the half. Lets keep the momentum in the 2nd half Huskers!
  4. Anybody else see the play before the TD pass? I swear Wake Forest is trying to take Keller out. To me it looked like the player was trying to go after his ankle. I have to go to work, I wish they'd have the game on the radio.
  5. Whoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thouchdown BABY!!
  6. Good shovel pass by Keller. Lets pound it in before the end of the 2nd quarter.
  7. What was up with the chain gang? The yellow line on TV shows a yard and a half short, and they pull the chains showing short then back off. Wake Forest is getting some gimmies. I hope the Cornhuskers get some attitude and pound Wake Forest. Lets Go Huskers!!
  8. Nebraska fans will still be the best fans in the world because of the saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". I'm sure some of what Herbstreet will have to say will be for a reaction from the crowd. It would be brilliant to have no crowd reaction. I know a guy at work who is going to the game, and I told him about the "silent treatment" for Herbstreet. I think you should spread the word as people are gathering. Too bad there isn't some kind of silent backing you could do for the Huskers like wave the blackshirts towel or something just so it doesn't sound like you're intently listening to him talk. Maybe some people should bring some stereos in cranked up with crickets chirping as Herbstreet is talking.
  9. I have a friend at work who has tickets to the game and he says that it's going to be off the charts. I once went to the 1995 Washington State - Nebraska game and had a radio in one ear and Kent Pavelka said that was one of the loud ones. I can't wait to watch the game on my brothers Big Screen TV with the surround sound which will give a feel of what the stadium is like. I hope it's so loud, it shakes the TV cameras.
  10. I like it. Looks pretty awesome. I haven't seen a shirt like that since the "Sooner Boomer" shirts back in the 80's. It's about time they came out with those kind of shirts again.
  11. Man, just imagine all that base pumping through Huskervision, and then Sirius. I like the beat in the sense it's like a heartbeat. It definately gets the emotions going. I hope they show the to the beat of the drums. Can't wait to see what the '07 Tunnel walk and everything is. GO BIG RED!
  12. Hmmm. Not a lot of backup in that position huh? I'm thinking we could benefit in the long snap if USC is in Shotgun. I know they do the whole lift of the leg deal to show they're ready, but if the backup has poor concentration because of the noise in Memorial Stadium, there might be a problem. Also the Center is one of the windows to the QB. I'm thinking Nebraska will bring the QB pressure. I'm going to have to see how USC does in their 1st game to draw a conclusion.
  13. How about making a sign that reads Everyone (With a brain) Should Pick Nebraska (Sorry Herbstreet and May)
  14. Does anybody know if Purify is starting this Saturday? I imagine that the rest of the Cornhuskers are behind Purify 100% and will do everything they can to back him up.
  15. Besides the West Coast Offense, we also need to establish the Running Game. Not only that, but there has to be better QB protection this year. I'm not sure how long Keller needs to fire off the ball, 3 seconds or ?? And I agree with Nebraska's Defense not giving up the big play. Nebraska needs to play 4 quarters of football. No letting up. I'm not sure if Callahan is afraid of running up the score or what, but make the other team stop you. I also want to see Nebraska stop doing all the shifts before they snap the ball. I had a friend point out that about 90% of the time they'd shift, it was a run. All they should have to do is work on formations and keep the Defenses guessing. I know after Nebraska's first game, we'll be able to better see what needs to be fixed.
  16. I hear that, the one good thing about "the sham" is when the FSU players douse Bowden with Gatoraide and then they all realize that Nebraska still has one more chance. Nebraska by all means was the better team in the '94 Orange Bowl and they were the true Champions.
  17. I'm so ready for the game Saturday. I'm going with my Wife Friday evening to Lincoln for the State Fair. After we walk around a while, we're going to grab a bite to eat. I can't wait to see the evening atmosphere before the season opener. GO BIG RED!!
  18. Just wanted to drop everyone a line about how ESPN Classic is showing the 1995 Orange Bowl at 2 AM CST on 8/29 and the 1994 Orange Bowl at 4 AM CST on 8/29. The only beef I have about this is that they should show the games the other way around. After the 1994 Orange Bowl it's understood how Nebraska's motto into the 1994 season was "Unfinished Business". I'm definately going to tape it.
  19. :asshat That's what I get for saying VCR... Unfortunately some of us can't afford the DVR's yet. Oh well.
  20. Tonight at 7pm CST on KETV channel 7 in Omaha is a "Big Red Preview" I believe they are going to talk about the Cornhuskers 2007 season, and hopefully we'll get a look at the players and Coach Callahan. Hope you get a chance to watch it. I'm setting my VCR since I have to work while it's on. I'm getting more excited day bay day. GO BIG RED!
  21. I've seen Cy-Hawk talk when I've gone to visit my in-laws in Denison, IA. They pretty much seem to believe that the sun rises and sets in Iowa. They're good to listen to if you're a Cyclone or Hawkeye fan, but they act like the team across the Missouri river isn't up to their league. I can't believe that they would say that Nebraska is just like any other team since we no longer run the option. Nebraska is reloading on players each year, and the west coast offense will keep getting better. I'd like to see the CyHawk show if Nebraska piles up points against the Cyclones this year.

  23. I did a search on ebay, and there are tickets going up for sale already for the game. You may see a lot of Husker Red in the stands yet.
  24. I keep having this dream where USC has the problem that we did when Nebraska came to Arizona State in 1996, and Nebraska couldn't get anything going. I had a similar dream before the 1995 Orange Bowl and had a dream where Nebraska came back from behind and intercepted to seal the deal. My Dream about USC is Nebraska kicking butt on Defense, and sustaining drives and eating away clock on Offense, and Total Domination in the 4th Quarter. The reason Nebraska dominated was USC and Nebraska were undefeated and ESPN College Game Day was in Lincoln and had the National Championship Trophy on the stage and Herbstreet says, "This is they only way Nebraska is going to get a look at the National Championship Trophy this year", and the Cornhuskers took offense and Nebraska let it all fly in the game. I wish I could remember the score. It wasn't a shut out but it was Something like USC 9 Nebraska 28. Of course it was all a dream, but from what I have read, Nebraska is taking all the press and soaking it up and are ready to explode out on the field.
  25. I remember my parents and relatives upstairs watching the Nebraska Florida St Orange Bowl upstairs, and me with my brother downstairs with some of his friends, and the FSU guy dropping the ball and the Cornhusker falling on top of it, and I was going nuts yelling, "Husker ball on the 20!" That's when we saw the Ref signal a TD. On the replay we realized the Ref signaled a TD even before the hand off. Heck, it was ruled a TD as soon as the ball was snapped. I thought the people upstairs were going to fall through the floor because they were jumping mad. There were a lot of bad calls that went against the Cornhuskers in that game. I remember yelling at the top of my lungs when the Husker receiver went down and 1 second was left, and the clock went to 0, I was like, "OH NO!!!! WE GOT 1 MORE CHANCE!! DON'T EVEN TRY TO SAY THE GAME IS OVER!!" Then, Bowden gets Gatoraided, and Osborne takes the field staring that there is 1 second left and the clock stops for a first down. There's Bowden, soaked to the bone and Nebraska has a chance to win it. Then, wide left. Even after the game, Bowden said, the better team didn't win the game. Nebraska had FSU's number. I'm just glad Nebraska took the disappointment into the '94 season to get fired up.
