  3. Been a season ticket holder for 20 years...can safely say that there is no comparison whatsoever...the new park is awesome! Sad to see Rosenblatt go but I'm all about TD Ameritrade now! I especially love being able to stand on the concourse and still watch the game. More legroom in the seats and built in cupholders sealed the deal for me. The tailgating is night and day difference too. It seems very calm in the TD Ameritrade parking lots comparred to the craziness at Rosenblatt. Probably because the tailgaters are spread over multiple lots versus all being crammed into one lot. Atmosphere is way different too with all of the stuff in the downtown area surrounding the stadium...way more vendors, food, beer gardens, bars, restaurants, etc.
  4. Sad... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6567273&source=NCFHeadlines
  5. You talking about Kernkraft 400 by Zombie Nation? Just google that and you'll get some youtube hits.
  6. For anyone looking for some excellent action photos from the game last night, check out the photo slide show over at omaha.com. There's some really cool ones of Suh. I'm so proud of our D! GO BIG RED!!! Here's a link: http://omaha.com/section/SPORTS Then click on the two photo showcases. They are java script links so I can't directly post them...enjoy!
  7. The best coats were Starter brand coats, however they went bankrupt in 99 I believe. Nike sold them to Iconix. Not sure if they still make them or not. I still have mine and love it. Warmest coat I have ever owned. I also purchased a lighter weight Husker coat from the Bookstore down on campus. You might check there too. Interestingly enough, while just doing a search for Iconix Brand Group / Starter, I came across a line in an article: "Starter, already in Wal-Marts, will have an expanded re-launch in Wal-Mart in the spring of 2009." I'd say check your local Wal-Mart.
  8. agreed! There were so many no calls or incorrect calls today I lost count.
  9. Weather was pretty cold sitting in the stadium today but seeing the team play like they did was a nice distraction! Minus a few errors I thought we played a helluva game. High points for me were the Bomber flying over the stadium, watching Helu hurdle his way over defenders for the 3rd week in a row, the fake field goal and my personal favorite, watching Suh catch a TD Pass! I can't wait 'til next week! GBR!!! GBR!!! GBR!!!
  10. I have always liked the N-Zone Bar in Haymarket district...its plenty big, they have plenty of TV's, they have great food and it's close to the stadium.
  11. Here's a stadium chart. Gates are indicated by red circles.
  12. Man this is a cool shirt! Some of you probably remember the original design I came up with which was a really wicked looking skull with the saying Skull and BOnes Tour. I decided to seek permission from the University to use the officially licenced skull and bones logo so that I could sell them as "Officially Licenced". I got that permission and have since started printing the first shirts. I already have the minimum order so I can order them at will now for you. If you would like to get your officially licensed shirt they will be available around the boards. Chad is going to be buying a bunch of them. **Order here: http://huskerts.com#skull **
