Could some of the problem be with the players? Some seem to really have the "individual" attitude. I imagine that makes for tough coaching. We supposedly have all the talent, and when the team plays together it kicks a$$, Just a thought!!

Coach Osbourne in his talk after the last Championship win told the future players to "KEEP THE TRADITION" Nebraska has always been know for smash mouth football. A "Were gonna make you pay for not wearing red, and you will like it" attitude. The option is the hardest offense to defend against when executed properly. If you were on defense what would you rather stop, a 190lbs reciver, or a 225lbs thourobred? Devany kept the Tradition! Osbourne kept the Tradition! Solich was getting it, and Callahan lost it. Don't get me wrong, Calahan is a damn good coach, but not for Nebraska. It was once said the Cornhuskers reflect the people of the state. I'd like to be seen as rough and tumble than as a pretty boy (WCO) anyday. Take a look at this and then compare it to where were at now. I'd have to say the Traditon is lost! With that said I'll still be a Husker till I die. Hopefully will get this program going again!!!!!
